That is correct. Gatecrash is a big standalone set. Sealed is 6x gatecrash (5+1 guild pack for prerelease) and draft is 3x gatecrash. Once Dragons Maze hits, draft will be 1-1-1, no idea what sealed will be.

So what would happen if said store DOESNT do that? and just gives 3/3 packs to people and doesnt give out any Guild Packs/Boxes?

EDIT: Also only way I can see that even being possible is if they either A: cannibalize the guild packs for boosters or B: use prize support to run the event, keeping the guildpacks...

It hasnt really been 'popular' in ages. too many single cards are just too strong now. So this deck's 'plan' is to play a sphere and hope a 3/3 for 2 gets there. This gives the other deck 6 full turns to just draw into 3 lands and then cast something absurd, or even just plow your guy. Now you're BOTH locked under sphere, except their cards are so much better than yours that you really cant do a damn thing.

a blood moon is a little bit more powerful, but in that R/W deck, it also turns off a TON of your cards too.

It can steal some wins, sure. But compare it to belcher. You can both go 'all in' on 1-2 cards, but yours take 4+ turns to actually win the game, while the belcher deck just kills people. If you feel like coin flipping all day, have at. But it isnt going to be a top tier deck ever.
