3 Walkers. Gideon, Elspeth, Ajani. Honestly, what do i cut for scroll? Also, i had a game go like this. Opp, on the play, Forest, Exploration, Mtn, Pass. Me, blood crypt tapped, go. Opp Forest, Mtn, RAVENOUS BABOONS. go look it up. he then proceeded to do nothing for 3 turns and died. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? not surprised. Good curve, OP equipment (Jitte and 2 swords), and Good mana beat power consistently.

I read some good news today. These super-limited products are getting annoying.http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/228b

" but the takeaway for me from that piece is how successful the program is despite the imperfections." -Regarding magic online.Dear Mr Forsythe, That is because you have a monopoly on your hands. If someone else was allowed to make a better magic program on their own w/o receiving a cease and decease letter and/or not in fear of getting sued for millions, they would. MTGO is a piece of **** program and has been since the inception since it began in 2002. You (wotc) have completely ****ed over the consumer for a decade now and honestly, you guys give two ****s about it (also proven by taking away the 4 pack sealed (1 of the few +EV events) and replacing it with a phantom event that's massively -EV (and don't even get me started on cube, that's a ****ing joke in -EV). Your marketing team is a complete joke. F's all around. You are completely behind in every single thing you do and you're lucky you have a thriving community to back you up. No other game would have been supported such failures from the top. It is amazing how many times the consumer gets ****ed over when magic is one of the few games that makes WOTC/Hasbro money.

It was six minutes, according to the post times. And believe me, I'm unlike any woman you know. When I say six minutes, that's what I mean. Now, my step daughter on the other hand... Do you also disbelieve "(Avacyn Restored) is the third-best-selling set of all time behind Return to Ravnica and Innistrad" If Innistrad is #2 best set selling set ever and Avacyn is the #3 best selling set ever I don't find it hard to believe that the small set between those two is the best selling small set ever.

Didn't Zendikar shatter all records too? I dare them to reprint Future Sight or Worldwake and see if either can beat out Dark Ascension

Why would you insist on that? Future Sight and Worldwake have Goyf and Jace TMS, but what really makes the difference is that there are more players now than there used to be. I bet The Avengers sequel will rake in more money than the first, but that doesn't mean anything about the first.

As choco man points out it continues to be 'easy' for Wizard's to set records because the number of players is growing. They didn't say Dark Ascension was the most popular small set ever - they said it was the best selling small set ever.Judging from how popular RTR has been and how well it seems to be selling I expect Dragon's Maze might outsell Dark Ascension. quote: Originally posted by marlo213: Didn't Zendikar shatter all records too? This is the only fact I could find from Wizard's. "In its first three months, Zendikar boosters outsold Shards of Alara boosters in the U.S. by over 55%! That is a huge leap for a single year—in many areas, we had difficulty keeping up with the demand." http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/72 I didn't find any statement from Wizard's about it breaking any records.

I was thinking that one of the reasons why Zen didn't outpace other sets was because they couldn't keep it on the shelves. If WoTC had the stock, they probably would have sold a lot more.

It also helps that there are plenty of crappy small sets that precede Dark Ascension, which is a pretty decent set on its own.__________________ Most References in Massachusetts 80th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

I thought woldwake would have been the best selling small set due to our old buddy JTMS value.

Print size. Specifically, WWK was notoriously under-printed. I remember a month of going back to ZEN-ZEN-ZEN drafting at my local shop because nobody could get WWK allocations less than a month into the release of the set. It's also partially why WWK booster boxes are so high. I still hold out hope that I'll be on a road trip one day and come across a case of WWK fat packs

Scam. There are a million places someone without knowledge of MtG would take a card that rare before MOTL. Wouldn't be surprised to see a very similar post on MTGS trading post.

So I hit a situation tonight in a tournament where my hand consisted of an intuition and an omniscience, he passed. I was dead if he got another attack step. The only way I could win was to show and tell omniscience into play and cast emrakul and eat his board so he couldn't swing for lethal.I had about 6-7 mana. So my options were: Intuition for show and tell (3 left) or emrakul (which is less smart 3 left) This option gives me (3 choose 1)/(43 choose 1) probability or Intuition for brainstorm and cast on my mainphase. This option gives me another probability, which I didn't have time to calculate on the spot. I got weird looks when I intuitioned for bs and cast it main phase. Is there that different of a probability? I assumed there wasn't a big difference. Edit: I think it's (3 choose 1)(3 choose 1)(41 choose 2)/(43 choose 4)
