I took that survey and probably 75% of it was concerned with the ratings system, which I don't care about. The survey asked almost nothing about playing habits so I am not sure what they expect to gain from it.

pretty simple, isnt it? they want feedback on their new, non elo, rating system. the little bit about playing habits is enough to establish what kind of player you are (fnm, casual, ptqer).

There's also a limited psychographic profile at the end of it. I think it's funny that they were very limited in terms of even expressing the common complaints about the PP system. Also, every time I had to answer yes to whether or not new players have shown up since PP was implemented, and I wanted to add "because of RTR, not because of PP" to every statement.

Is that the "woman six-minutes" or the guy (i.e. standard ) six-minutes? Cuz every time we leave the house my wife's got to do this last thing, she won't be a minute! And we'll be waiting for like 10 minutes.

Soo, get some RtR packs for Christmas and low and behold seems Santa (AKA: WoTC) Seemed to forget to put cards in my packs! Namely the Rares!

So excited for such a .... anti climatic event.

Got 6 random packs in my stockings from the girlfriend.

Pulled Mikeus the Unhallowed, Hellrider, Angel of Serenity, Woodland Cemetary, and a Bloodcrypt. I never have luck like that.

Yeah. This is partly the reason I tend to play aggro, whether in limited or constructed. Time limits just end up making me really angry. I'd rather lose 0-2 in 10 minutes than win 1-0 after time.

As a control player at heart I have to disagree here. I love the long game where you know you've got your opponent by the balls. Aggro just doesn't seem to work for me somehow.

Only downside is of the long game that you don't have much time to eat/drink or see the little mens room. Which is why I haven't played control in a while..

They are fun once in a while, but once you play it more than twice in a row, it gets really tedious. Imagine being glued to your seat for 2 or more hours in a row.
