It doesn't look like War Zone to me at all. But otherwise, yeah. __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants

Why is the condition of every MTG card I want to buy on eBay list as NM-SP? I guess cards are also real-fake.

Hyperbole. It's a legit description, considering the vagueness of "Near Mint" nowadays. And by vagueness, I'm referring to dealers themselves having a different grading scale when buying vs. selling.

QFT... I would have no problem with major dealers being as picky as they are when they buy if the cards I received in return were equally scrutinized. Typical dealer Near Mint?? At this point I'm pleased when the card isn't folded in half!!! (End rant) Take it easy, Jared

Yeah, people who don't look at location before posting also make me grumpy.

In my newbie trading days I made tons of offers without looking at addresses and went through with some intl trades just to avoid bta even though I tried to stay US only. I'm glad I did since it made trading worldwide less scary

I have never lost cards sending International. I have even sent to Italy! I have lost several packages mailed here in the states....
If you have enough refs I will send International. I have done several $100 deals without tracking. At least I know I can trust them now!

I don't think it's a "legit" description at all. Since it's people being shady and people also trying to cover their own butts against condition chargebacks. I understand why you want to describe everything NM-SP, but really just one of the frustrations with buying on eBay. Who doesn't want NM money for SP cards? quote: Originally posted by AGO: I have never lost cards sending International. I have even sent to Italy! 1. He has a website. 2. He buys tons of collections. 3. He buys out wholesalers. 4. He does modo. Any and all of the above. Preston has been doing this awhile

No, because new cards don't get mangled that often. And old cards are buttoned up. It's the same reason that those guys who put up "BUYING ANY AMOUNT OF PLAYED U SEAS!!!" for some stupid low price never get any.

When did Marsh Flats go up? I traded for a bunch of Zendikar fetches not that long ago at less than $10 a piece. --Evil __________________ I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds. Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.

Then you either got a great deal or are lying out of your ass. Zendikar Fetches haven't been $10 for at least a year, if not 2. Since you have been on the board for a while now, then I congratulate you on your great deal.

I checked my records and realize the trade I was referring to was in January 2012. I made a large trade including 9 Zendikar fetches at around $10 a piece. Glad I held onto them. --Evil __________________ I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds. Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.

I am not really too sure. I posted on the trade/value board about them and one of the posters mentioned SCG bought out a lot of people on them and jacked the prices. You know, being dicks as usual. __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants

So someone on the interwebz who knows nothing blamed SCG, sounds legit.

I'm not claiming it's canon, but the whole quote was about when MM was announced as not containing Zendikar block and it made a lot of sense. And said user hasn't given me a reason to think he's full of crap or anything. Is it not something SCG does? __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants
