Best on Ebay right now is $35, so I figure after costs it's about that. You vendors out there, I'm interested if you have extra sets. Will take 3 per set for each new Standard legal set.

The bad/comical AI cards are at the beginning. Page 8 or 9 has cards with better designs. There's a master thread over at MTG Sally but it's less satisfying to peruse.

I thought they changed it to the Monday after a prerelease. Is Origins not a "real" set? Say I have this guy in play: http://magiccards.info/ori/en/141.html and a 5/5 trampler (who is red) as well. I swing in for 5. My opponent team blocks with 3 2/2s. Can I assign 1 damage to each of the 2/2s as that is essentially lethal? Or do I have to assing 2, and it becomes 3. Like, I want to assign 1, 1, 1 and 2 to the player, but I think I have to assign 2,2 and 1 to the 3 2/2s. [Edited 1 times, lastly by hilikuS on July 20, 2015]

When checking for assigned lethal damage, take into account damage already marked on the creature and damage from other creatures that's being assigned during the same combat damage step, but not any abilities or effects that might change the amount of damage that's actually dealt. Seems counterintuitive but it looks like Embermaw just assigns each blocker extra damage for no reason.
