I'm not a judge, but based on the wording in the rulebook regarding assigning lethal damage, I believe that is true. You'd need to assign a lethal amount of damage before applying Embermaw's modifier. I hope someone with better qualifications gives you an answer, as I am completely unqualified.

Volcanon Member	posted August 01, 2015 01:22 PM Store got one of those huge mats with most (but not all?) of the planeswalkers. The artist seems to only know how to draw DD cup boobs. Also why would Kiora have big BLOOBS? Fish aren't mammals. Also the moonfolk lady is missing even though old, bad planeswalkers like Koth are there. Lame.

It would seriously run the risk of alienating tons of casual players who want the product, but would be unable to find it at a reasonable price. Look at what happened with the TNN. I'm sure it also irritates retailers when 1-2 of the decks get wiped out right away, but the remaining three just sit. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!
