Picked up The Witcher 2 the other day. Had some headaches installing it (which after some googling turns out to be a common problem), but it's been running perfectly since. Thank god for PC exclusives, the graphics are absolutely incredible, way beyond what can be done on consoles. My dad's core 2 quad 2.6Ghz and nvidia GTX 480 can barely pump out 30fps in some of the more intense areas. Don't buy this game unless you have a serious rig, but if you do you're going to love it.The combat is much improved from the first game, and you have many more tools at your disposal, not to mention an even more robust alchemy system, talent trees, etc.

Hot games tonight...middle of HQ on nuketown, nailed Grenade for 3 Defends, then into Mortars for a 6 spot defend, followed up with a Napalm strike for 3 more...finished 58-26 on that map, that map is nuts on time Edit: Got a clutch 5 kill grenade on search and destroy on nuketown..24/7 baby!

Had a nuketown game yesterday where 5 of 6 opponents sprinted to B in domination thanks to that mlg stat indicating that 5 of 6 games are won by the team that takes B first on nuke town. Lucky for me I sprinted to the window and aimed an rpg at the undetonated car at B for the sweet sweet multi kill

Just watching that kill feed light up with 5-6 names in a row is a sweet feeling

Have you played Fallout 3? It's leagues better than New Vegas, with or without DLC.

Yes, I played Fallout 3. Got boring after I beat it and the DLC.__________________ -Schmitty 5th in Refs [192] in OH-IO (Catching up to xion_black) 2nd in Posts [5654] in OH-IO (Have a long way to go to catch Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

If you like Fallout, then have you played Oblivion? A modern day type of AC game would be Alpha Protocol. Rented that with really low expectations, and I had a BLAST playing it.

I prefer variable zoom... best of both worlds. I have to say though, that of all the unlockable guns, only the PSG1 and G11 are actually worth it. It's like the WA2000 and Bolt Action made sweet sweet love and had an awesome baby.

I'm not a big sniper.I tend to stick to M16, FN FAL, AK74U, Dual Wield Skorps, COMMANDO, and Spas. __________________ -Schmitty 5th in Refs [192] in OH-IO (Catching up to xion_black) 2nd in Posts [5654] in OH-IO (Have a long way to go to catch Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

ROFL! I guess dual wield skorps with scav and sleight of hand / steady aim would be like a shotgun for maps like summit. So, bought the ONZA tournament edition: The GOOD: 2 extra buttons are nice, especially for competitive and checking for how many players are alive or dead deciding to go for the objective or not. Custom resistance is nice after you get used to it. The buttons are really nice as well. The BAD: if you switch to a different controller (like i did last night) getting used to the difference in resistance is really hard. The custom buttons aren't in the best spot. Tried the Madcatz black ops controller as well: The GOOD: LOVE the custom button placement! They are right under where your middle fingers sit while holding the controller. Makes drop shotting and jump drop shotting so easy. Good overall feel. The BAD: the analog sticks are teflon coated ffs it feels like... be prepared to have your thumbs slip constantly. The triggers take WAY more pressure to press than standard controllers, leaving me with sore index fingers at the end of the night. If I could take the trigger shape, and custom buttons of the Madcatz, and put them on the ONZA, it would be the perfect controller. They are both decent, especially when they cost almost the same amount as a regular 360 controller anyway.

Yeah, I only use duel skorps when I feel like being an ass. It only works on a few levels anyway. It sucks cuz you have to use Steady Aim for it to be moderately good, so you can't increase their tiny clip. I tend to use Ghost with everything so yeah.

I've really been loving the x bow with scav pro. Gives you 1 chambered shot and 3 reloads to start with scav packs taking you up to a max ammo of 5 bolts. On stadium I just spam b flag with bolts or if we are taking it I spam the balconies lol

You're kidding I used to all the time and then traded my copy in when I picked up Portal 2. Cause, y'know, I could never find someone to play with... talk about gift of the magi... __________________ "I never got any respect at all. I never actually got around to finishing the first game (the pacing midgame just felt like it was dragging too much among other issues), so I just played the default Witcher 2 experience. I might look into importing a save if I play the game a second time. I'm currently on the chapter 3 boss fight. I'll say no more as I don't want to spoil the excellent story.
