AG - Actually, it is when it gets closed, you can open a new one.

This is correct. You do not make a new thread until the previous one has been closed. Please don't let it happen again. Thanks, Jazaray

Steam acts like a game controller of sorts. You can use it to connect to people playing games you play, manage games you've bought, and buy games online from it.I don't like it because it uses up a metric crapton of my cpu and bandwidth even when it's idling, plus Steam charges the same price for retail games without any retail overhead...but i do play TF2 occasionally.

How old is your computer? The stone age? Steam uses like 60 mb ram, which is NOTHING, and uses a negligible amount of cpu. If it's using up your bandwidth, that's because it's updating games. Otherwise it doesn't use more than maybe 3KB/s (I just checked using a traffic monitor). I prefer to buy games on steam as opposed to retail. Who cares that it's the same price? You get the same product in a more convenient manner with less restrictions on it. IMO, that is added value. Buying on steam lets me get a game at any time of day without leaving my house, and I can download it again on any other computer I own, as many times as I want. That's a whole lot better than CD keys that you can only activate a certain number of times or other draconian anti-piracy measures that are becoming increasingly popular. Also, since I'm fortunate enough to have a ~50mb internet connection, my steam games usually download in like 10-15 minutes. TLDR: Steam is the ****.

it uses up all my bandwidth even when it's not updating games. I've had situations where it's been like "Why is Runescape lagging? oh, forgot to turn steam off..." on a 10 Mb/s connection.computer is a year old, steam uses up enough system resources to notice it. There's really not enough games on Steam that i worry about it, anyway. Since for the same price I can have a physical copy with disc, instruction manual etc, I usually just go to Best Buy when i want a game.

I run Steam on XP virtualized on my MacBook because PC versions of games run better than the trashy ports mac gets (SimCity 4, yo).No detectable lag, and I have 4 gigs of ram on the cheapest macbook money could buy in 2007.

You lie. I HAD a 2.12 KDR in MW2 until I started to try and do all the goofy unlockables. Right now I'm 1.88 and I know for a fact it's a hell of a lot better than your KDR Stuuy. Your on my friends list! You can't lie! I can go look it up right now and tell everyone about your KDR.

The best part, of course, of playing SimCity 4 is that I can traumatize rich people by building an oil refinery right beside their uber-ritz apartments, and then bulldoze the roads so the can never leave.

The Commando is insanely OP I think. High mag size, low recoil, only 2-3 bullet kills. It's stupidly good. __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! Serra Angel Count: 239 Nightmare Count: 95

When I've played COD:BO I like Warlord Pro on the Commando w/Red Dot and Silencer. Then Ghost it up with the other perk. Last but certainly not least....Marathon for the final perk and off to play Domination we go! EDIT: I must point out that Gas Mask Pro is also BROKEN.

You need a RDS? I prefer Extended mag and silence, if I'm using warlord at all. Extended mags are really a game changer, doubly so if used in conjunction with slieght of hand, I've found. __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile! I like being able to unlock stuff as I see fit, and customizing reticles is awesome. Love the commando. ABSOLUTELY LOVE HACKER PRO. Love stealing crates. Motion Sensor is BROKEN because not a lot of people use Hacker Pro.As for my KDR, mines better than it was on MW2. MWS I was roughly a 1.43or something and on this I'm 1.75. I wish they did a better job with matchmaking even teams and only playing people in your prestige, but they don't Halo has a much better matchmaking ranking system. My current classes: 1. Silenced Spas with China Lake - Flak Jacket, Steady Aim, Marathon - For Nuketown and Grid 2. Commando Reflex with Strela - Ghost, Hardened, Hacker (All Pro) 3. Silenced Famas Reflex with RPG - Ghost, Warlord, Hacker(All Pro) 4. RPG Reflex with Crossbow - Ghost, Sleight of Hand, Hacker (All Pro) 5. Changes, depending on some of the contracts, mainly between a. FN FAL Reflex Silenced + Dual Wield Pythons - Ghost, Warlord, Hacker (All Pro) b. AK74u Reflex Grip + DW Pythons - Ghost, Warlord, Hacker (All Pro)

There are few guns in ANY COD series that I will use the ironsights over a RDS. Also, the only real reason why I don't use the red dot in MW2 is because of Danger Close. I can use a gun with iron sights...I just HATE it. I feel like I'm a lot more accurate with it than without it, and having those extra bullets aren't gonna help me aim any better. Quality shots, not quantity.

I have it preordered. Would really like a Signature edition, though, so hopefully I'll be able to upgrade at the store.

I think the Famas is far superior than the commando. The only thing the commando has is it's better silenced. Famas has better iron sites, same bullet damage, but far higher rate of fire. As far as attachments go, if you're using sleight of hand / scavenger, definitely go for extended mags. If you're not, I would HIGHLY recommend dual mags. Dual mags is half of sleight of hand, and also gives you extra clips. I have 2 accounts, my main one is Kd 2.61, and my secondary one is 2.66. It used to be 3.29 but I've been playing it as my objective style account for the last month, and its evened out at around 2.65ish. Using flak jacket, steady aim, marathon with famas - dual mags, and akimbo pythons makes for a great flag taking class in domination. One other thing i have noticed, is that all guns seem to kick a little bit more when you use them with any kind of site (more noticeable with acog) which is why i try to use iron sites on most guns. I have 14 customizable classes (all different) between 2 accounts, but i am too lazy to post them. They fall into the different categories of post, rush/flank, and objective. Feel free to check out my first how to commentary for domination: http://www.youtube.com/tang0ix#p/u/1/U8NBtlm_yyk It is the first in a 3 part series (the second coming this week, or early next) on how to play domination. It's on my brothers youtube channel. Feel free to check out more of his stuff too as it is all black ops.

my primary loadouts (when i have available all associated weapons, etc):Rush class AK47 with some random attachment (usually tubes so i can mess around, cause by the time i get ak i'm beyond caring what people think of me) Python speed loader Frags Concussions Claymore (they go on every class; i'm not mentioning them from this point on) Lightweight Steady Aim Marathon Super-stealthy Galil dual mag + silencer Crossbow Tomahawk Concussions Ghost Warlord Hacker Soldier class FAMAS red dot sight (green or purple dot) Python speed reloader (replaced with a LAW on my air support class) Frags Concussions Ghost Sleight of Hand Hacker Snipes L96 variable zoom Python speed loader Tommyhawk Decoy Ghost Steady Aim Hacker CoD players get crazy-mad when they have a UAV up and still don't see the enemy team. Even with the FAMAS class lacking a silencer, i can often catch 2 or more players off guard simply by shooting one enemy, then running off somewhere before his mates can find me. with the Galil's ammo capacity and damage at range, I can effectively stay wherever i want to indefinitely (not in one spot, but in one general area, such as that annoying back alley behind b-dom on Hanoi).

BC2 really isn't about K/D though. It's so much more important to help your team and die for it than to get some meaningless kills. Not calling you a bad player or anything, it's just always bothered me that people care about BC2 k/d when your w/l ratio is the thing that actually matters.

wow, had an argument with a terrible CoD player last night. He stated that I was bad because I didn't take as many flags as him. Our stats were:Me: Kills - 49, deaths - 3, caps - 3, defends - 9 him: kills - 4, deaths - 37, caps - 4, defends - 1 His extra cap was the starting flag, which i NEVER go for as all it takes is one person to get. He just wouldn't concede the fact that he alone gave the enemy team sr-71's and chopper gunners... it's hard to take a flag when the enemy has overwhelming air support. <facepalm>
