Damn Matt.....nice pick on Pietrangelo. I was hoping he might slip one more time under the radar and I'd get him in the next round. Man...had Keith not have been just sitting there I was gonna take him, and almost did with my last pick. So far he's the only guy I really wanted that I didn't get. EDIT: Earlier I wanted Krejci when I thought that Sharp was both C/LW....in a way I'm glad that he lost the LW tag for now bc it changed my drafting and I'd be super heated if two guys I wanted went back to back....but nice pick on Krejci, I think he's going to have a monster season.

I'm really curious to see how Toronto will be this year. It looks like they had a decent end of season (aat some point, the 8th position was available!)No fun in hating a team that can't win ^^ BTW, how do i get tickets for a hockey game in a market like Montreal, where all games are sold out? I've NEVER been to a game, and would like to attend one. Any tips on how to get tickets? Pre-season matches will be on sale this saturday, but I won't be close to a computer... Robert

Take a trip and go elsewhere! For me its cheaper to get tickets in Buffalo and Drive the 2 hours to see the leafs there. Its probably the same for Montreal, maybe to New York and see Montreal and the Habs? __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

Yea, when I got home from work and saw that nobody made the pick yet, after he told me he was going to be away from a computer, I just pulled the trigger on the best G(IMO) that was left since he only had 1.

Yes, but we've had years where Dane has had to auto draft the last 4-5 picks because of people being slow. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

We are way ahead of the game this year, which is good because hopefully dane doesn't have to try and put together a live draft with 3 of 12 players invovled where he is doing most of the work. Last year we ended somewhere in round 12, I think. Hopefully this year we can complete the full draft before the beginning of October but with the slow progress of late it might be a challenge. Any way to speed this up at all?

Not sure, I know who I am going to pick I am just waiting for Ogre. Problem is I could leave and then right away he could pick and then people have to wait 6+ hours for me to get home. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

C'mon, fellas, let's get this thing going! We want to try and get this stuff done before we are forced to have a live draft for the stragglers.edit: Somewhat surprising that no one took a flyer on Jagr but at the same time, the guy is a primadonna and could bail out at any time.

I thought about Jagr but I felt better with the other choices that were available.

In the 10th round there is no way i can pass up on Jagr, his low side is likely 50 points with 25 goals.High side he could score 35-40 and have 80 points. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

jagr is old balls. pfft on him and his talent. I wouldn't trade my 15th round pick for jagredit: not to mention that weedian's team looks like the backup skaters to that mighty ducks movie starring emilio.

I didn't know drafting 6 wingers who've all scored 30+ goals in multiple NHL seasons was bad. I'm sorry I'll try and draft Martin Erat and his career high 23 goals in 9 NHL seasons as I'm sure that's a solid pick :/

Longweekend could be a factor. Ogre is expired and Bernek is up but even Dane hasn't been on to edit that in. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)
