Long weekend is not a good reason, unless everyone goes out of town, far away from the Internet! That being said, very eager for my round. There are still many wingers I'm aiming at. Weedian may have an idea whom I'm looking :P

FYI I'm back so there should be pretty smooth sailing on my picks and Lotlizards (Zach) picks too. Might want to get Ian's number so I could drop him a text and get him Zach's number to let him know; either way it will keep the guys on the ends moving fast. W/ that said, however, the draft is moving much faster than last year so that is a positive.Dane, I'm gonna get hold of Zach and get his email address to you hopefully today. Gonna do some homework later on for player positions/dual-positions and late round draft planning. Still a couple of guys I'm after and one or two that need to be figured out yet. .05, Jesse __________________ "call the hospital now" "I'm gonna kill you" inspiring words from Mino Fazio

Saw one thing and wanted to see if it could be changed:Max acquisitions per week Could this be made to two instead of four? It seems like this has a tendency to get out of hand. Anyone else have thoughts on this? Jesse __________________ "call the hospital now" "I'm gonna kill you" inspiring words from Mino Fazio

I agree, someone in this league always abuses this every year, 2 is plenty.

Screw that.2 is too few, 4 isn't many at all. Once it goes to 10 then it can be abused but even then you can't add drop your entire team. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

I think max acquisitions per season would be more effective.

Disagree, Say you use 10 moves out of 50 the entire year. Make the playoffs, you can add/drop and get a full team every night at least 2 rounds of the playoffs. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 10000+ posts 3rd in posts in Ontario 15th in posts on MOTL Top 5 in Refs in Ontario (by people who location posted)

4 per week really isn't that bad....but since we have it set at 4, and some want 2, can we meet in the middle on 3?

Not too sure about Streit because of injury.Alfredson, although on his downfall, can probably give me a decent season

Streit was my next pick, followed by Grabner on my list. He wasn't making it past me.....but I was happy to get one of those guys and you made my pick easy. I'll be honest I'd have taken Streit but would have kicked myself if Grabner didn't come back. EDIT: After that wednesday news conference(which we all learned nothing but Sid is not gonna be ready opening night most likely) I had to take a C. I was gonna take Streit then Grabner, but after seeing that Sid will probably be out for awhile I needed a solid C. There are still a few good ones left but I wan't risking it, plus Roy was on a tear until he got hurt last year. Can't go wrong with a possible point-per-game guy.

I loved what Grabner did last season. But not following his team is a big ?? to me.I had a few names for RW on my list, and Grabner was on it. But I feel that Alfredson still has some potential. Basically, my dilemma was : pick 2 wingers, or take Streit, because everyone seem to be grabbing D and not remembering about him ^^

No, I remembered him.....he's one of the best when healthy and the Islanders look like they have a good team. At the very least one that can score some goals. The only problem was A. his age, B.his injury, and C. his replacement last year played pretty damn good as well and is still out there. EDIT: not to mention there is still a top scoring D out there who hasn't been taken yet and it's quite suprising. Plus a few other solid offensive D.

Agreed, i only took Gologoski in the 9th because i was pretty sure he'd get taken if i didn't. He was quite the stud. I can't even remember who replaced Striet. Ugh! I've got a Dman in mine who i think wheels due to his bad play the last couple years. But he's had a change of scenery.
