Solar: it has been said in the past that a forum for rulings wont be made. and quite frankly.. its not necessary.. 1 long long long post (one that sets some posting records such as this one) is all that is necessary. Kworb: 1. I find it extremely hard to believe someone would play Pale Moon.. 2. gee.. think REAL hard.. 3. I observe all rights not to answer stupid questions as stated when I originally posted this topic. witchy: yes.. although I dont get why u'd take the morphling from your opponent, make it untargetable, then flicker the treachery to take it again. nicor_drygn: indeed you'd have to sacrifice your land, the sacrifice isnt a targetted ability or spell. ©

yes kworb I know what slander means:1.Law. Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation. 2.A false and malicious statement or report about someone. now exactly how is calling your question Hm yes I was just wondering, what will happen when I succesfully counterspell pale moon. stupid make it slanderous? it is me expressing my opinion and as I had stated at the beginning of the post.. I have the right not to answer a question if I so choose. © further replies on this non-revelant topic will not be tolerated.. and will be requested to be removed.. if u wish to continue this.. email me so I'd just delete them straight out. I created this post to be helpful to the general users of MOTL.. not for people of your sort of boredom to ruin it. end of discussion. __________________ Reference Page: www.magictraders.com/reflists/coolio.html DCI Certified Level I Judge Judge Certification & Training Oracle Card Reference D'Angelo Rulings Summary MTG Rules Got Magic:The Gathering Questions? Thanks coolio! Is there anyway I can disenchant an attunement or no matter what happens do I sit there and watch a replenish deck go off? This of course is once the attunement is in play.

I have two Emerald Medallions and an Aluren in play. Can I cast Weatherseed Treefolk for free?(Does Aluren look at the original casting cost or the casting cost after it is reduced?) -Silvertine

Goblin_Snowman: there really isnt a way to stop attunement except with counterspell or a way to stop it from hitting play altogether. attunement's draw/discard activiation cost is return to hand, as soon as that is announced, its gone and in their hands, disenchant isnt fast enough, and they can always respond to the disenchant.. so stopping attunement is via stopping it from hitting play period.Silvertine: here's D'Angelo's ruling summary Checks the actual printed cost on the creature card, and is not affected by things which allow you to play the spell for less, such as with the Emerald Medallion. koskan falls is a homelands card.. the set doesnt have "Rares" but it does have uncommons that only appear once on each sheet of uncommons.. making it the equilvant of a rare..and no.. pro blue doesnt mean protection against counterspell.. scragnoth was special since it stated it specifically on the card © __________________ Reference Page: www.magictraders.com/reflists/coolio.html DCI Certified Level I Judge Judge Certification & Training Oracle Card Reference D'Angelo Rulings Summary MTG Rules Got Magic:The Gathering Questions? O.k My opponent replenishes an opalesence and a bunch of enchantments into play. I in theory only here attempt to cast engineered plague. What creature type would the enchantments be or do they even have one? could I just says enchantments or nothing at all.

Counterspells and such can only counter spells.. the only way to counter an ability off the top of my head is Diplomatic Escort

goblin_snowman: each enchantment that becomes a creature via opalesence has creature type = to their names. so an opposition enchantment thats a creature would be creature - opposition.ima: uh.. as of now.. I'm only aware of the diplomatic escort has having the ability to counter abilities.. but its only limited to things that target a creature.. I could be wrong as I did miss out on the Rath cycle (tempest block) © __________________ Reference Page: www.magictraders.com/reflists/coolio.html DCI Certified Level I Judge Judge Certification & Training Oracle Card Reference D'Angelo Rulings Summary MTG Rules Got Magic:The Gathering Questions? My opponent is playing green and has a Masticore and a Compost on the table a one card in his hand. It's my turn. Can get rid of the darn thing by playing a Stupor.

2 Questions1> if i have a river boa w/ rancor on it and my victim humble's the boa he seems to thik it becomes a 0/1 creature and the rancored ability becomes null and void.humble says target creature becomes a 0/1. it does not say anything about the enchantments not still taking effect... if this ruling is right humble is a very overrated card... maybe i am still old school magic but this does not make sense to me. 2>i cast a skittering horror and my opponent casts a brainstorm to get a counterspell this is just plum ridiculuas.here again dci is interfering with a easy ruling and making it more difficult...how on earth can we put cards on a stack and start resolving the stack then add to the stack is it still last in first out? then the counterspell is not in his hand at the end of the stack so he cant cast it
