Goblin_Snowman: The current player chooses first and reveals their card, then the opponent chooses and reveals their card. Both cards are then put into play simultaneously. Mageman: It would be green until the end of the turn. : Does not prevent a spell or ability from adding color to permanents after this effect is applied. [Barclay 99/02/09] Maro1: You didn't play a creature spell so the Skittering Horror wouldn't bite it. I think this is right, but I'm still a bit shady on some of the come into play abilities. Selvaxri: Yes, because Parallax Wave returns to play all cards, not all creatures, that it removed from the game. __________________ -Guenhwyvar Member of G.A.B Blue Team and Judge in training.

If my opponent plays Dominate and takes control of my Skittering Skirge, and the next turn I cast another Skittering Skirge, what happens to the first Skirge?

Hey, coolio, I haven't seen you on IM since we last talked, so I thought that you might like to know that I passed my judging test. Thanks for helping me out when we talked!Oh, and by the way, with regards to your question maro1, you no longer control the first Skittering Skirge, so it is not sacked when you play another Skittering Skirge. For the Dominated one to be sacked, its controller has to play a creature spell, not the person who originally cast it. For all intents and purposes, you no longer own that Skittering Skirge that was Dominated.

Richie: Nope, won't work because final fortune doesn't target anything.Tempting Elf: Grats! So, how bad was it? A friend and I are going soon, but I have a final this week. Tempting Elf - Are you sure about that answer regarding Maro1's Dominated Skittering Skirge? While I agree that Maro1 is no longer the "controller" of the Dominated Skittering Skirge, he is still the "owner". That is why the Brand/Thieves Auction combo is a decent one.

no she is right, (im a judge now! whoo hoo) it says when YOU cast another creature spell, scrafice skittering skirge. and if he gained controll of it, the YOU part of it would be refering to him now. so if you cast onother creature, the other player would not have to sacrafice the skirge.and the theives auction combo, says permanents you own...this is just controll, not own. as far as i know there is not a card that lets you gain ownership of a card..but i could be wrong. __________________ •·.÷.·•- ----•[ im tha masta]•---- -•·.÷.·• im me at: Mr Jingle Jangle

Master - I was not questioning her judgement regarding the comes-into-play effect of the second Skirge....merely her last sentence:"For all intents and purposes, you no longer own that Skittering Skirge that was Dominated." My point was that he does still OWN the Skirge, but does not control it.

If I cast Symbiosis and chose my two targets, then in response my opponent kills one of the creatures, with lets say a shock, What happens? Does the remaining creature get the +2/+2 bonus or do I choose a new target or does the spell fizzle?

My opponent is playing Replenish and has an Opalessence, Parallax Wave and Tide and a bunch of other enchantments in play. What happens when I play Humility?__________________ If you are reading this than you've probably realised that I couldn't think of anything else to say.

as far as i know, you cant pump it below 0, you can only make it a 0/6. __________________ •·.÷.·•- ----•[ im tha masta]•---- -•·.÷.·• im me at: Mr Jingle Jangle

When I made the statement about your opponent owning the creature for all intents and purposed, I meant in the case of the "sacrifice when you cast a creature spell" effect. There are only a few ways in Magic to actually OWN your opponent's cards (Bronze Tablet, etc). I sort of figured that people would use common sense and that it would be understood.

kworb.. u try to work on a job that's 2-10pm.. with least 2 hr travel one way.. see how u like it.. so shut up and stay outta my posts.yeom: removed from the game pile sits faced up.. unless the spell/ability specifically says to set it aside or remove it facing down. purplepat: for all purposes of the ability.. he is no longer the "owner" of the ability of the skirge. raker: u need 2 legal targets upon casting.. once they are declared.. it doesnt matter.. if one dies.. the other would still get the +2/+2.. least that is how I'd rule it.. since D'Angelo's ruling doesnt have anything specific to this alkiser: the creature still comes out.. rule 402.6 states that the destruction of an ability or effect's source once the ability/effect is on the stack doesnt remove the ability/effect from the stack. yonyb: it becomes 0/7.. its technically a -2/8.. however.. since we dont have negative numbers in magic.. we look at it as a 0.. however.. it should be treated as a -2.. so when u add 1 power back.. it'll be at -1.. still 0. nebulite: I dont answer humility and opalesence questions. urzaandvolrath: think of as a howling mine.. for u only. alkiser: see the first comment I made.. as u can see.. I've been rather busy.. © __________________ Reference Page: www.magictraders.com/reflists/coolio.html DCI Certified Level I Judge Judge Certification & Training Oracle Card Reference D'Angelo Rulings Summary MTG Rules My Judge Article Rules Question Post #1 Rules Question Post #2
