Orinn:
1) Yes
2) Yes
K.5.Ruling.7 - When a permanent stops being a creature, any counters,
effects, and damage on it remain on it until they would normally be removed (if ever). If the counters or effects make no sense when applied to a non-creature, then they do not do anything. But if the land or artifact returns to being a creature, they may take effect again. [WotC Rules Team 95/09/22] For example, a +1/+1 counter from Dwarven Weaponsmith would remain, the effect of Giant Growth will wear off at end of turn, and damage will be removed at end of turn.

You never answered my question

I was wondering if a creature with 0 toughness (because a card like engineered plague gives it -1/-1) comes into play...

I think so, but I want to be sure.

it has to come into play for a card that gives creatures in play -1/-1 to take effect.

Creatures in your hand, library and graveyard, are not considered creatures, but creature cards. Only creatures in play really count as creatures.

Uh, Coolio, you might want to start another post. Here's an idea for the name:

Kworb: Creatures come into play but die the next time state based effects are checked. I.e. the resolution of the spell.

Time Walk: It only affects the creatures in play at the time false prophet goes to the graveyard.

Electrobee: No. The resolution of the spell involves both picking a card and discarding one at random. You can't "break into" the resolution of seperate parts of a single spell.

Imagenyuss: No, they aren't affected by spells that destroy them. Consecrate would have to be removed first.

i dunno if this has been asked before but here:

if i play chimeric staff, then i play karn's touch(i know 2 crappy unplayable cards) on the staff, what will happen with the ability that makes it an X/X creature

next:

if i use icy manipulator to tap my opponants ring of gix can you tap the icy in responce so the ring of gix was never tapped by the icy?

JuzamDjin: the Chimeric Staff becomes 4/4

next question: huh?
you tap the ring with your icy and then you want to tap the icy?
well since tapping the ring goes on the stack, the ring will get tapped, no matter what happens

I'm playing Ankh-Tide, and I have an Ankh of Mishra and a Parallax Tide in play. I remove four counters off Tide to remove four of my opponents lands, and in response my sacrifices an elvish lyrist to kill my tide. Do my opponent's lands ever leave play? Does he take damage?

Ok I got another question. Okay my opponent attackes with a Negator, and I block the Negator with a Rainbow Efreet(3/1 Flying UU: Phase it out). Now if the dmg is on the stack, and I phase the Efreet out, do I still take the Trample dmg??

Oh and another question, my opponent plays a Parallax Dementia on my Rainbow Efreet, now my question is that if I phase out the Efreet, and I know the Dementia comes with it, there are no fading counters being removed is there, as long as its being phased??

i cast Thrive (XG, put a +1/+1 counter on each of X target creatures), can i target the same creature more than once?

i have overlaid terrain out, and i play Rhystic Cave (Tap: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool unless a player pays 1.) i tap the cave for two green (via terrain), can my opponent pay 1 to dissolve the mana?

i play Treetop Bracers on my really big Titania's Chosen, and attack... my opponent has Spidersilk armor out, can he block?

i have Recycle out, a Reclaim in my graveyard and hand; can i do this:
1) play Reclaim
2) put other Reclaim on top of library
3) draw Reclaim via Recycle
4) Repeat steps 1-3 until i run out of green mana

Master: You would have to deal "lethal damage" to cho-manno, which would be 2. You could trample the other 4 over to your opponent.

Ncromoniter: If you remove a counter, in response remove another counter, etc, and after you're all done that he removes the parallax tide w/the lyrist this is what happens. Lyrist is the last thing on the stack so it resolves and the parallax tide is destroyed. All lands removed from play come back *which is none at this point*. P. tide isn't in play so it's effects never happen. No damage dealt.

DarkDamion: Trample damage goes thru if you phase the blocker out.

Selvaxri:

1) Only 1 counter per creature.
2) Overlaid terrain provides a seperate ability that couldn't be countered by spending 1.
3) Yes he can block.
4) You would draw the card via recycle before the reclaim would resolve.

If I have a Skittering Horror in play and I have a Ravenous Rats in my Graveyard, and I play Unearth to put the Rats into play, will the Rats force my Skittering Horror to be sacrificed?
