File mail fraud. This is a federal offence and is punishable to an extreme extent.__________________ "If someone owes you money, you never have to say your broke!"

Just wondering...has anyone actually filed mail fraud? How long did it take? Was it a hassle? How did it turn out?gh0stface __________________ gh0stface's Reflist One injustice starts a thousand riots. One law stops a thousand crimes. One thought opens a thousand eyes. Ok I know of only one person who actually has done this here and that is me.I have filed mail fraud charges. It took a few months to be investigated. The guy refused to admit he got the cards. He used a fake name to get fraud me of my cards. Now when my return reciept came back to me with the fake signature he said no one at his place by that name recieved the cards. they took a signature off his credit card and it matched the signature on my reciept. The guy got this thrown at him and pleaded guilty to using a fake name to acquire merhcandise through the mail and plea bargained out of federal mail fraud charges. He spent two months in jail here awaiting the sentencing and got 10 years of probation and 300 hours community service along with 20000 in fines not including court costs and such. So go ahead and rip someone here so Iakae and Co. can track your sorry rear ends down and the accuser can laugh at all the trouble your pea sized brain got you into Never got my cards back but all in all it was worth it (the whole dang thing over a AN city of brass valued at about 30 bucks ) Check with your local post office for the best information. while most are basically the same some can be different.

Shadowizar is the vindictive Mod. Just kidding...uh, sort of...Anyway, yeah, the mail fraud charges do their job, but you have to realize that these things take time (seems like I say that a lot). The legal system isn't exactly the fastest thing going on the planet, but that's because it's a very careful process.
