The Northern Alliance has nothing to do with the United States. It is a para-military group that is operating in Afghanistan. They control the 5% of Afghanistan that is not controlled by the Taliban.

Yeah, gas is so high now. I heard the dollar dropped a whole lot in worth today because of the disaster. I'm sure it'll go down again soon.

This was quoted on CNN from the Union Leader of the Firemen that over half of the 400 union firefighters had died today (or are yet unaccounted for). This is most likely true due to the fact that all of the rescue workers were heading up into the WTC right before it collapsed.

Well, our economy is not in a recession right now. However, it is possible that we could go into one. The value of the dollar dropped a bit today, however I think that everything will be fine soon enough.

YAY! I watch the factor every night, though I am neither Republican, Democrate, Radical, nor Independant.

I've been watching Bill O'riely for months now, (one of the only tv shows I watch)

I say with no humor (and in fact-based opinion - look at WWII) that nothing stimulates an economy more than a war. Guess we'll find out in *looks at watch* 22 minutes.
