my friend's sister worked on the top floor of the first tower. she's ok - she managed to somehow run out after the plane hit, but while the tower was still standing. holy ****. wow.
my mom woke me up in the morning & told me about all this - she was let off work early.
i'm speechless. 2 of the flights were l.a. boston - my friends are in boston. another friend goes to Columbia - thw World trade Center was 100 blocks from her. OUCH.

Come on, in that one South African Bombing of the embassies, the culprits ALL had pilots liscenses. What does this say? It was the plan to fly into the buildings, and i don't think the hijackers cared if they died (which kinda leads to that one group, Hamas). That Palastinian group, dunno what it's called, has already claimed responsibility, though I dont know why. And the thing with Bush making stupid orders and stuff like that over-reacting, I don't think that could exactly happen. I mean the secretary of state is Colin Powell for god sakes. This is pretty bad, really bad...pearl harbor bad, and you all know what happened as a result of that. But you do have to kinda understand that all the world's bombs and weapons are pointed at us, just no one dares to pull the trigger.

Well, there really is nothing new that has happened recently. I am anxious to see how quickly the government performs there investigation into who did this act.Just a quick note, I was saying I was heading to class so you knew I wasn't going to reply for a while. I was in no way, shape, or form not showing remorse for this act. Here at Syracuse they have left classes open with various different colleges closing all of their courses (VPA, Management, etc.). I am shocked and outraged that the chancellor didn't cancel our classes. A good 40-50% of our students are from the NYC area. Thousands of kids right now at our school don't know where their parents are and are expected to be in class... It is a sad day indeed, and one that will not shortly be forgotten. I don't really think that it has completely sunk in that the World Trade Center is basically gone. My stomach gets all quesy and turns knots thinking about it. I hope that all of you who are looking for family members find them soon. God watch over us all. - Matt __________________

Man I wake up 2 minutes after the first plane hits the World Trade Center, then I get to see the 2nd plane hit it. Then all this other stuff happens.... Worst Terrorism in the history of the world. Man both towers collapsed though I can't freakin believe it... I'm at school right now, so I'm wondering exactly like how many planes were hijacked, i've heard reports of 8 or so. 4 or 5 have crashed thus far. So I still am without total info since, most of the TV's and radio's are off right now. Any info would be appreciated. I'll check back at the end of my class in 1 hr.Vegeta2711 __________________

Movies that are made nowdays are made for this weekend and that weekend only. To see if they can make the most money. There is hardly any artistic value to these
"Pop Movies", and there is no artistic value whatsoever in "pop-ular" music nowdays.

One of his reasons for the actions that he took was because of what happened in
Waco Texas. In fact, he did it on a day that was significant and corresponding with the date of Waco. This was left out of most news reports.
It was Filtered Two wrongs do not make a right, however I believe that our US government was more in the wrong by doing what they did there at Waco. And they, in military terms CTA.
I'm not saying that What Tim did was right, but neither was what happened at Waco.
For instance, look what hapened in california and in tennesee and in maine in the past month.
People resorted to barricading themselves in they're house and shortly thereafter the police and FBI showed up, in one of the cases, a man burned up with his house, an event that I'm sure you havn't thought much about since while it was taking place on the news. This again adds to my stating that we only live in the moment here in the US.

Rumor has it that Pres. Bush will be going to Norad (the highest and most protect military facility in the US) this place also has the best radar and can track any missle any where any time. Norad is in Colorado...and that were I live....I can see Norad from the house ;( lets all hope ad pray things go well shall we

Well, lets see...every single Non-Cable channel has this, every radio station is talking about it, all airports closed, tens of thousands dead, this day really sucks man. The revenge Bush will take, me thinks, could be devastating, I hope he doesn't do something stupid...Arafat, grrr... I have some priceless tools however!  I started taping the news broadcast at 6:50 MST when the first plane crashed and Bryant Gumble started to notify everyone, I taped right through when the second airplane crashed on live TV!  I was on TBS though, so whatever news is displayed there (Atlanta?), and I got the guy swearing because he was amazed, it was sweet. __________________

I know what you're talking about (the television thingie) I live in the Netherlands and some t.v shots have been broadcasted at least 10 times allready, Arrafat (spelled really wrong!!!)is sorry a clear view shot from a crashing plane some people saying their so shocked that they can's tell a thing (it's a complot I tell you  } __________________

Both the Ambassadar Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel has been closed down here in Michigan. All the court houses and important buildings in and around Detroit are being evacuated or closed down for the day. People are scared. I've emailed people that I have traded with to let them know if they have friends or family in the badly hit areas to try and get a hold of them. It is a real sad day for us Americans and a sad day for those that live outside of USA. Personally I am thinking of going down the local hospital and donating blood to help out.__________________

I live in New York!!! My mom used to work in the WTC, and she was there in the 1993 bombing, thank god she came out of there alive. I am very saddened that this happened again, and my respects go out to all the people that lost someone in any of the bombings.
