I think that I heard on the radio that it was supposed to be next summer, but I may have misunderstood and they were referring to the summer of 2006, which sounds more like what I would expect. __________________ Warning! just finished reading the Fifth Dawn book - I know, I know but I have to read them all - it's a weird compulsion, but I digress. This book is so badly written it makes me ashamed to actually put it with my other books - the other main problem with the MTG books is the quality control - spelling is shot to hell, and the print quality is always on the dodgy side, but I still read them. but I will be returning to better stuff tonight gonna break out Perdido Street Station by China Mieville again, well written with tons of imagination __________________ Woof!Qualified for English Nationals. Damn straight. If you haven't already, you should read his other EU books, Specter of the Past and Vision of the Future. Those two, along with the original Thrawn trilogy, bookend the Pre-NJO EU perfectly and are IMO the best written of all of them. __________________ I still expect everyone to report rules violations...just not to me ;-)Best. Actually, I own pretty much all of the Star Wars books (well, except for the Young Jedi books, which I can't stand, and that's a shame since Luke and Mara have their baby in that series). The five Timothy Zahn books are far and away the best, although the majority of others aren't bad either. My only complaint about the Zahn books is that they moved Luke away from being an almost omnipotent being back to more of a farmboy; I actually enjoyed his progression towards becoming a Light Side Vader. Outside of the Zahn books I've really enjoyed the two series focusing around Han Solo (the Corellian trilogy and the three books about his youth). After I get finished with the series I'm reading I'll probably dust off the Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child Relic series (Relic, Reliquary, and The Cabinent of Curiosities).

Damn It only took me three days to finish all 5 books...oh well on to Expanded Universe by the great Heinlein! I really want one of those miniature singularity disposal units...I especially want it in red (mmmm...designer color black holes). -David-

Surprised no one else is reading this. Slash read it. THe Rule of Four...I thought it was cool, but it wasn't as cool as the Dan Brown books because none of this stuff is true except for the most basic of situations. __________________ o.ôI just got a warning beacuse my stupid sig didn't work. I am reading Black Holes and Time Warps, which is a really really really good book about Einstein, Newton, and work related to that. If you are interested you should try buying it or getting it from your local library.

"Black and Blue" by Ian Rankin - one of the best crime writers ever (IMO)the other great thing about it is he writes about Edinburgh (my home town) and it's fun knowing all the places and sometimes the people he is writing about __________________ Woof!Qualified for English Nationals.
