I'm currently reading a hilarious book called "Lamb" by Christopher Moore.

It's a novel about Jesus Christ's childhood, written from the perspective of his best friend, Biff. Yes, it's borderline sacrilegious, and it's a laugh riot.

I'm still on The Art of War. It's not even 50 pages.

Agreed Serra, Lamb is hilarious. I'm currently reading Night Watch by Terry Pratchett on the recommendation of a few friends. This is my first Pratchett book and I seem to be having a hard time getting in to it

ohhh.. never get into one of his last ones as his terminology has advanced so much that he deems it obvious for people to know them. I can heartily recommend books like Pyramid and The Lost Continent, they stab wonderfully at countries like Egypt and Australia ("which is not actually about Australia, it's just about a parallel world that for some wicked reason shows some remarkable resemblance with a continent on Earth." [sic] Terry Pratchett).

But as soon as you're in, you'll likely have a lifetime of joy of reading Pratchett books. Don't give up!

re-re-reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy BTW

It takes a bit to figure out Pratchett. After I read the first book, though, I really like them.

I read the first book in that series and got SERIOUSLY wierded out. I didnt read any more of them.

Oh yah...If you like the Da Vinci code, his other books are also really good. I read Angels and Demons the other day, and loved it. I also just read Digital Fortress, which was pretty neat.

The Left Behind series reads like a B-grade comic book but is a pretty good take on Revelation nonetheless. I've read through...ummm...The Mark, I think, it's been a long time.

It'll get interesting with this one. It's where Christ will come back.....how do you portray that? He's stuck to Revaltions very well and the end will be a HUGE leap of faith.

Test of the Twins (Dragonlance Legends Vol. 2). Read these like 12-14 years ago, was curious if the love I had for them as a teenager withstood the passage of time. So far, they have.

My wife just finished that a few months ago.
I re-read all the Drizzt books. I cant wait for book 3 of the Hunter's Blade trilogy when it comes out in October. Right now, though, I am reading Annotated Dragonlance Chronicles. Its pretty nifty. It has all 3 of the Dragonlance Chronicles books, but has a bunch of side notes and such.

Currently re-reading The Dark Tower: The Wastelands and then Wizard and Glass so I can read The Wolves Of Calla. I got it for Christmas and wanted to read through the first four again to refresh my memory.

Also reading The Fabric of the Cosmos on the side. And although I haven't really read them in many months, I'm close to the end of Book Four, The Shadow Rising, in The Wheel of Time series.

well although the book on Jurassic Park was a lot more elaborated (as far as I can remember.. I tried reading it at the age of 10), JP1 wasn't a bad movie at all. I know that was probably not what you intended but I thought I'd point it out for the sake of it.

I'm currently reading a SF Anthology from the 60s. Mostly short stories from the Golden Age, which is pretty much my favorite. Besides that, I skim through one of the Harry Potter books nearly everyday. I haven't started anything new, though I have Neverwhere and Mister Monday (from the Keys to the Kingdom series) on my "to read" list. It's just been so hard for me to start reading again with this computer in my room...
