At my brothers getting ready for pax. Pulled out his old 3000 count box of magic cards to see if we can build him an EDH deck. Find a pack mint Pyrexian Dreadnought, and 2 maze of iths. Sadly no duals. Luckily he had some old chronicles legends so we pulled a Nicol Bolas and went from there. Is decent, old school, but should be fun play. Needs about $5 in cheap commons and rares to be good.

Any idea if Target and Wal-mart carry the new Duel Decks: Elspeth vs. Tezzeret? I went to both stores today in my area and neither had them.__________________ My sig: just another victim of dallaswilliams.

They'll carry it, but you have to go later in the day. They don't usually put that stuff out this early. Go back this afternoon. They should have it out by then.

Just got in from my FNM, don't think I'll do another until they stop drafting M11. It's a pretty boring format, I feel bad for the pros who have to play it at the big tournaments now. Did get to run out my new EDH deck (Intet) though, which was pretty fun. Also picked up a copy of DD:EvT but I'm not going to crack it just yet. Going to wait and see if I can get a second copy for collection purposes. A lot of places out here have them for quite a bit more than MSRP, as expected.

I love going to fnm's after they release products like these. People have been cracking the ftv's and elspeth duel decks, and trading the cards they dont want, Aether vials, the new swords to plow, and mishra's factorys, pretty much anything not type 2 they get rid of, and i love it!

Well, so much for building Faeries for the next Extended tournament. I somehow have managed to not have a single Bitterblossom, Cryptic Command or Thoughtseize in addition to some of the cheaper cards I'm missing. Yeah, $100 won't get me close. At least I have the Mutavaults. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. Just checked back at Walmart, still nothing. Maybe it's just that Walmart. __________________ My sig: just another victim of dallaswilliams.

Negative, its 2:30 here and my wal-mart doesnt have them out yet either. I have a feeling that they won't be available until early next week @ retail stores.

Nothing at my local Walmart or Target. I didn't expect to find them on the release date, but supposedly a friend of mine got some M11 at Walmart on the release date, so who knows.

I just got mine at a very small local sports card shop here in my town, for 19.95 He says he isn't getting any more after they sell, and has 3 left. I'm thinking about getting them and sitting for awhile. Will they have re-sale value? ~MM __________________ I am MeddlingMage...YOUR Motl Survivor 11 Champion and 2007 Captain N award winner.MafiaBass (9:48:50 PM): sorry my keyboard is sticky MeddlingEric (9:48:56 PM): ewwww MafiaBass (9:51:43 PM): FTR, I did not show you my e-pee-pee New keeper of the Logout button

I'/ve been checking locally... all the retail stores use vendors that stock these, they don't do it themselves. None of them know when those vendors typically stock product, dates, times, or anything. I think its kinda a crap shoot. Also calling doesn't help much because the person on the other end of the phone has no idea what you're talking about. I think you just have to stop in and hope to get lucky. Stopped at walmart x2, fredmeyers x2, target, and going to stop by a shopko here in a bit to check. One fred meyer had phyrexian vs coalition and some slivers decks, everything else had at best fat packs but mostly just packs. I dont want to pay retail for that stuff! hah.

If people post on your page that they'll buy your cards for 75% MOTL/apathyhouse value, is it OK to counter offer that if they pay you full value you'd be happy to send them 3/4 of the cards they want? Just curious...

The stores here don't have it yet either. A Target employee told me they get the cards from an individual supplier, so when he brings them in, they put them on the shelves.

This was one of my first decks I really wanted to build after I got done w/ zur and 5 color. My biggest issue is that he doesn't do anything when you first cast him so you actually have to connect with him. Has that been an issue for you? If your play group competitive? That deck seems all or nothing as you play things that let you manipulate the top of your deck and things that let you do free stuff like Gate to the Ęther. Its so tempting to put in time stretch but I'd say there would be way too much complaining if I started playing it again.

Don't worry, guys. Wally-World usually stocks the newest stuff like 3 days afterwards at my local stores. No worries though, they WILL be there in abundance

Has anyone seen any Japanese Future Sight boxes for sale anywhere? I've checked ebay and seen none lately.

edit: As for Future Sight, cheapest boosters I have seen around here are around $9US and there aren't many left. Not sure about other areas of Japan, just Osaka/Kobe.quote: Originally posted by caquaa: This was one of my first decks I really wanted to build after I got done w/ zur and 5 color. My play group isn't static, so the people I play with range from "I completely understand the point of EDH; let's have some fun" to "I just want to win and I don't care if you have fun or not, so I'm playing Zur lock/Erayo". I personally play for the fun of the format/crazy card interactions. I'm not a fan of decks that prevent you from doing anything or lock you out. Anyway, I just built it because I wanted to try that particular color combo. After having seen it play out a bit, there are some tweaks needed. Cast through Time doesn't really fit because if you connect with Intet it won't trigger, so that's out. I don't play with Time Stretch because it is so easy to abuse and isn't much fun for the other players at the table. I run Temporal Aperture at present and am considering Gate to the Aether. That card seems really fun!

I wonder if the holiday weekend isn't contributing to the Duel Decks not being on the shelves in a lot of places?__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. Remember the Auctions Board!

Went back home to Irving (next to Dallas) for Labor Day weekend. Checked both Walmart and Target, didn't have them.

God I miss Japan (Well, Tokyo. Osaka wasn't as much fun). Too bad I'm locked into post-grad now. http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h145202463 Wow, that took 10 seconds. Currently going for 11,000 Yen (Yeah, the yen is crazy now, but thats still like... $130?). Basically retail. Edit: And yes, I know he's using the picture of an English box. Read the description.

Does anyone have the size in inches of PSA graded cases? Are they the same size as a top loader? I'm building a custom display and want to make sure I make the shelves long enough.
