If only Phyrexian Crusader didn't have Infect. Then it would be auto-include in cube.

Is Signal Pest something i should throw into a Tempered Steel type deal? I play with Ornithopters too, and Steel Overseer is another pumper for it.Thinking about tossing in some eldrazi crap into my green deck. 8-ish mana is plausible, probably not 15. Also just throwing it in for fun so a 7 dollar card isn't too worth it. What's a good eldrazi type thing to substitute for the legendary guys? Or should i do Conscription instead of a body?

I was looking at the info for the new set and saw that you choose which faction you want your pack to be from. What's the difference between the 2 packs? Is it that certain cards are more likely to appear in one kind of pack, certain cards only appear in one kind of back, etc?

That was only for the prerelease. Faction packs will not be used for any other events that I know of. If you chose Phyrexia, all the cards in the pack would have the Phyrexian watermark, and likewise for Mirran. The only exception is that foils could appear in the other faction's packs, __________________ *MafiaBass*Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Logout Q: How many mathematicians does it take to change a light bulb? Preordain has been in my cube for a long time. It's really good. Black Zenith is really good - I'd take out some other removal for it, but I don't know what your list looks like. I don't want to suggest taking out something like Bane of the Living if you're running Infest. Hero of Bladehold is an auto-include; it's really, really good and gives white another 4-drop that's ridiculous. It dodges Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Incinerate, etc. Hero of Oxid Ridge should also find a home, but it's not ridiculous. Mirran Crusader absolutely goes in. Double protection guys are ridiculous for the cube. Paladin en-Vec and Stillmoon Cavalier are both not going anywhere any time soon. The fact that it has double strike is just a bonus on top of everything else. Here's what I'm trying to find room for in my cube: Mirran Crusader Hero of Bladehold Black Sun's Zenith Hero of Oxid Ridge Thrun Green Sun's Zenith Phyrexian Revoker Sword of Feast or Famine

You heard incorrectly. Release party uses normal Besiged boosters. The ONLY event to use the split packs was the pre-release. And on that note, everyone planning to attend a release event this weekend should read this: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/128k __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? I think this screenshot speaks for itself. In case it doesn't - that's me making two Necrotic Oozes a turn in a SOM-SOM-SOM draft.

Wrong colors, Tempered Steel is white :v But really, it's just 30 or 60 dollars i don't have. Although i am doing blue for trinket mage, riddlesmith, and counters.

Into a typically mono-white deck? I disagree. That's a two-color splash. quote: Originally posted by yakusoku: I think this screenshot speaks for itself. In case it doesn't - that's me making two Necrotic Oozes a turn in a SOM-SOM-SOM draft.
Lolololol. That's what makes Necrotic Ooze so ridiculous. Maybe that should be my next pet deck (probably not). __________________ *MafiaBass*Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Logout Q: How many mathematicians does it take to change a light bulb? A:0.9¯

Most Tempered Steel lists are UBW, so it's a reasonable suggestion.

In playing Pauper, you know, the format where you can only use commons, I just lost on my third, third, second, and third turns in two matches. It's unfortunate that Mark Rosewater thinks power creep is the only way to make this game fun and sell product. It makes it not very fun at all, actually. That's why I quit playing extended and switched to pauper, but even that doesn't work, I guess. Two mana has now become the point where you have to deal with spells or eventually lose (Bitterblossom), three mana is the spell you have to deal within one turn or lose (Knight of the Reliquary) and four mana is a must counter spell or you immediately lose (Scapeshift).

I haven't paid close attention to the format, but I'm assuming some form of storm combo? __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

It was poison. And I just lost on my third turn to mono green aggro. Not poison. But yeah, I (effectively) lose on my third turn to storm combo pretty frequently too.

Mono white? Isn't Tempered Steel BWu?

I feel like you could have said that years ago with stuff like Scepter, Mr. Teeth and even Necropotence. I feel like you're being unreasonable.

Most release parties will be with the faction packs. Weather is preventing most shipments of regular boosters to be delayed until next week.

I do believe the onus is on people to inform people they trade with about any taxes their country might impose.

Source? According to the information WotC sent me, if I don't get our product, I'm supposed to reschedule our Launch Party, not use faction packs. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
