I had a casual deck that practically ran off of High market.Academy Rector + Pattern of Rebirth x4 4 Phyrexian Ghoul, 4 High Market Any combo that wins the game involving 2 Creatures, 2 Enchantments, or one of each (Mind over Matter/Quicksilver Dagger, Serra Avatar/Cloak of Invis, that sorta thing). Really unfair. __________________ -Schmitty 5th in Refs [189] in OH-IO (Catching up to xion_black) 2nd in Posts [5522] in OH-IO (Have a long way to go to catch Val)

I think I have a problem with this "casual" format.
Why so much? Are you playing a 5-color deck or trying to foil things out? You can build quality decks for way less than that. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

Then that's your own fault I did the foil/beta treatment on my Maga deck once upon a time. After it was done, I ended up selling off all the pimp because I just couldn't justify having so much tied up in one deck. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

After it taking so long to put this deck together (I have paid for maybe 2 cards in the deck, the rest is from trading on this fantastic site!), I could never do that. At the same time, doing it has shown me that I never want to foil another deck again in my life, either. Looks like poor Niv/Jhoira, Savra and Momir will be mostly alone in their shiny glory in my other EDH decks. At least Rasputin won't have to be jealous of his underlings' bling.

So, for the first time since ebay's top rated seller program started, I'm going to lose the status. Apparently mail to the US from my country is extremely slow now (started all the way back in December). I've gotten 14 low DSRs for shipping time in a month, compared to 1 for the entire year prior to that month. I'm allowed 2-3 low DSRs I believe. Ebay only counts US bidders towards the evaluation of the status and most of the bidders aren't from the US so the margin for low DSRs and max number of disputes is an extremely small number. Obviously these buyers don't know what is called mail delays. My only neg was from a guy who expected the cards to reach the US in less than 5 days. I also had bidders starting disputes without even telling me. 1st guy started a dispute (in April 2010), probably for kicks, never responded after that and I won the case. More recently ( a week ago), this guy didn't email me and went on to start a dispute, and claimed that he tried to email me via ebay. Hasn't responded since I submitted a tracking number. 3rd guy didn't sign for the package, got returned to me and I resent it out of my own expense. He ignored all my emails, as I wanted to show him the scans of the returned envelope. He said it was a waste of time. Got the 2nd tracking number, started a dispute a week later. His reason was that the tracking number was invalid. After questioning him, turns out he was checking a courier service website to track the article instead of SingPost. He still claimed I was some sketchy person and suspecting I didn't ship the cards at all. What an idiot. To cap it off he won 2 items, and he disputed on those 2 items. Ebay just went ahead and counted those 2 disputes as seperate cases and I get 2 dispute strikes against my evaluation for top rated seller status (I'm allowed max 2 disputes but I have 4 right now). Talked to an ebay rep today, she said evaluation for the status is done based on the previous month's performance. I went to check my previous month's evaluation, the dispute that was opened on April 2010 is still logged in my account and counted towards my evaluation. Her attitude and tone throughout the entire conversation wasn't great either, and from the looks of it she just wanted to end the conversation quickly. Then went on to say its my fault for not shipping quickly and communicating well with the buyers. I shipped within 3 business days as promised, emailed all buyers with tracking numbers when I ship, what more do they expect? This is ridiculous. /rant EDIT: Not the first bs ebay pulled on me. Sometime last year when all I was doing is sell via fixed priced items for the past few months, I got a call from them telling me that my selling privelages are suspended because I was shill bidding. The time frame they've given was a time when I did not bid on anything, and only sell via fixed priced listings. I told them that and the rep just said: 'you can't sell, period'. Approx 1-2 weeks later I got a call from another rep saying that they got the wrong seller, and restored my status. Epic fail. __________________ Have/Want List References Email me: magik_321@hotmail.com

I posted something in the Suggestions forum, it got no responses for a week, and got deleted. Basically, I think it would be useful for the T/A forum to have selling and buying fields when posting a list the way the H/W forum has wants and haves fields. Currently, if you want to buy a Wasteland, you end up sifting through a bunch of buylists with it, or you go into a sales list only to find that it is listed as credit. I thought it was a good idea.

I remember seeing your idea, but I'm not sure if I commented on it. If I didn't, I'll do so now. I support the idea - there's no reason why we shouldn't have it. People don't have to have a credit list. If they only want cash, they can just leave it blank and/or state that. As for the Suggestions forum as a whole, it's good in theory but ultimately useless in practice because none of us (except Admins I believe) have access to the code to edit it :/

I feel that pain... I sent a shipment of old Decipher SWCCG out; the other guy contacts me and says that all the cards are damaged (I sent them out nm/m) and then a week latter admits that the packaging was all wet (and I find out latter...not even the original box I shipped it in..) and it all ends up with me getting shafted for some hundreds of rare magic cards... Was my 1800 card collection, including multiple R2 and UR (ultimate rares) for his 600 some random rares since he no longer plays MTG. I valued that 1800 card collection using ebay, pricing commons at five cents and uncommons at 10 (store prices are 33 for commons and 50-75 for uncommons) and each rare I had rounded down to nearest half dollar, aka: $750 worth of SWCCG, 1/2 of it from rares alone. Still haven't received jack****... His cards were Unlimited/RV through Lowryn...

Find your win percentage by format: http://www.bradleyjx.net/rh/ratinghistory.htmlConstructed: Format Record: 26-11-3 (0 byes, 40 total) Format %: 65% - 27.5% - 7.5% Limited: Format Record: 17-8-0 (0 byes, 25 total) Format %: 68% - 32% - 0% Limited will be going down after 0-3 drop for the prerelease sealed. Also, this makes me realize that considering how much time I spend researching, thinking about, and handling Magic cards, I don't play NEARLY enough.
