I recently purchased an Imperial Seal and the biggest deciding factor for me was that it could go in anything from Mono Black to 5 Color. Workshop is extremely narrow in what it does and only fits in a handful of decks. When you combine that with the cost it really does make it hard to justify getting a card that you can not get max use out of

I don't understand this. I offer to buy a couple of cards off of a sale's list, and the guy responds that he can "part" with everything except Xx. I'm like, "okay, so it is on your sale list with a price, and you don't want to sale?" He gets back saying that the price was out of date, (even though he has pumped it daily with no responses). So I'm like, okay I will take it at the price you changed it to, and I also need a, b, c, ect..... He doesnt respond, and he goes and changes the price on everything I offered to buy, by cents. Like .40 cents a piece. Wow, I don't even know what to think.

LOL, usually when I complain about somebody on here it is to vent, but in this case people should probably know. After all of that, I offered to buy the cards at the price he changed them to, and he said he would sale them to me at MOTL value, which was no more then 50 cents a card. LOL, how hard up for a couple of pennies are you?

Saw that thread on the "fake" unlimited p9 and a couple of questions occurred to me.What are the good ways to clean a magic card? And if you send one in to the PSA for grading, do they clean it for you? On the topic of the PSA, is it common practice to have high value cards graded? Or only if you think yours might pull in a high grade? Thanks for any info.

Yeah, I posted on his list so he'd see it and realize he's going to get in trouble if he doesn't stop, but let us know if he does it again. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I don't actually see it written in the rules either. There's stuff about offering to buy at a higher price than what's listed, but nothing about shifting your prices up on your own. Logically, such a move is just stupid if you actually want to sell anything. But I don't see anything forbidding it either. Any rule would of course have to take in to account that people sometimes need to reserve the right to adjust a price when they list something way too low and don't realize it until they get like 10 offers for the card at a steal price. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

Zoinks. I honestly had no idea that this was remotely debatable. So much for common sense these days.Assuming that a list is active and that it's not correcting an obvious and significant pricing error, if someone changes prices after receiving an offer to buy at their set prices, there are only two possible reasons. One is that they do not want to sell the card, making it a violation of the rules regarding posting cards that aren't available. The other is that they are trying to make their sale a cash auction, another obvious violation.

There's a huge difference between an occasional pricing error and someone raising the price on every single card that someone offers to buy by a relatively small margin. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I understand and agree with your logic nder. And yes, common sense should prevail and you would think people would know not to do it...but you've been doing this long enough to know people do stupid stuff around here. I think the point was that it's not clearly stated in the rules, even if it is implied. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

A: A graded card is generally worth more than an ungraded card, so having your high value cards graded (assuming they're worthy of being graded) they will have a greater value in the eye's of serious collectors. Thanks for any info.

Needs more Wonder! Wonder basically reads: Give Wild Mongrel +1/+1; You win this attack phase.I'm a big fan of Careful Study, Werebears and more Roar of the Wurms. 3rd turn 6/6 flyers are sweet!

Anyone playing Master Edition 4 drafts on MTGO? I am having a lot of fun with them. Kind of cool being able to play with a lot of the cards I grew up with. I had someone pass me a LoA in pack #1 yesterday. Couldn't believe it. Then the next draft, had someone pass an Underground Sea (pack #2). I understand not wanting to money draft, but would anyone skip a Sea in a 4322 draft? Seems crazy.

I would rather play Merfolk Looters, Waterfront Bouncers, Circlular Logic and Counterspells.
