Ok so I have a Mirran Crusader enchanted by a Celestial Mantle. If I attack and I'm not blocked will I get to double my life twice since I have double strike?

What 'remembers' that the token created by Geist of Saint Traft must be exiled? Is it the Geist, is it the token, is it 'the game', is it something else?

The game. Its a delayed trigger ability. Its rule 603.7 if you want to read how it works.

Gideon Jura + Geist of Saint TraftMy issue is the token. The token is placed into play tapped and attacking. If Gideon used his +2 ability the previous turn, can the token be placed into play attacking the opponent rather then Gideon? Does Gideon's ability only effect creatures that are declared as an attacker or would it also effect the token which jumps past the declare attackers and just enters play already attacking. Anyone able to back their answer up either way?

Thanks. Based on this passage: A delayed triggered ability will trigger only once—the next time its trigger event occurs— unless it has a stated duration, such as “this turn.” I'm not sure what happens if I activate Sundial of the infinite before the trigger has a chance to go on the stack (say after blockers are declared). Does "At the end of combat" in the text of Geist refer specifically to the current combat step and so I keep the token until it dies, or will this trigger at the end of the next combat step, whenever that is, killing the token?

If you use the sundial before the trigger is placed on the stack, it will trigger at the end "end of combat" step (likely your opponent's step). If you allow the ability to trigger, then end the turn before it resolves, you'll get to keep the token. The next attack of the geist creatures a trigger that does not refer to the first token you created.

A creature that is put on the battlefield tapped and attacking can attack anything, regardless of any attacking restrictions. Attacking restrictions only apply to creatures that are declared as attackers. Refer to Rule 508 of the CR.

I will apologize ahead of time for this humility related question. If humility is in play, how does that affect creature enchantments like rancor for example? Does it matter if rancor was in play before or after humility comes into play? Would mirri's wake boost your 1/1 creatures to 2/2 creatures?

P/T Layering happens in the following order (simplified): CDA Set Effects Counters Switch In the case of Rancor, Humility will give the creature the +2/+0 regardles of when it was played, making it a 3/1. If the Rancor came into play first, it won't have trample; if the Humility came in first, it will. On that same note, Mirari's Wake will make all your creatures 2/2s vice 1/1s.

Planewalker abilities are activated abilities.Revoker prevents activated ablities from being activated. Yup, it works on planeswalkers.

He didn't ask about Planeswalkers though, he asked about Plainswalkers. :P That being said, Yes, if you name Boggart Arsonists, he won't be able to destroy a Scarecrow or a Plains; he'll be able to swing for 2 every turn unblocked if you control a Plains though. (Yes, I'm being silly; this is also a reminder to re-read your posts before you post them.)

that turn. End Step (when he can flash it in) is before the Clean up step, (where he can't flash it in 99% of the time) which is when you discard. If he did find a way to flash it in during the clean up step you would still discard since if anything happens during the clean up step the step is repeated.

From the card rulings on gatherer:8/15/2010 "You can't choose to pay any additional costs for the copy. However, effects based on any additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy too. For example, if a player sacrifices a 3/3 creature to cast Fling, and you copy it with Reverberate, the copy of Fling will also deal 3 damage to its target." So I'd say that yes, what he did should work. But the experts would now better than I would.

OK, another question then!If I have a Parallel Lives in play and attack w / a Hero of Bladeholm, I know that I double the amount of tokens put into play. Would the "extra tokens" also come into play tapped and attacking or would they enter play untapped / not attacking? Thanks again! Carl

They would come into play tapped and attacking. Parallel Lives does not affect the manner in which the tokens come into to play, only the number.

How does price of progress work if someone has a fetch out (or similar) and sacrifices it in response to PoP? Does the fetch count toward the nonbasic land count or not?

Price counts nonbasics when it resolves. If you price, and they fetch and get a basic (or no land at all), they wont take damage because of it. If they got a Dual land, then they would take 2.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for?
