The next set will have Augmented reality cards or 3d cards, to supply the third side for that land __________________ What a willou tree thinks about.

And then book cards that are basically 20 cards stapled together and you just flip to the one you want to play.

Skaab Ruinator 1uu Creature - Zombie Horror Mythic Rare As an additional cost to cast Skaab Ruinator, exile 3 creature cards from your graveyard. Flying You may cast Skaab Ruinator from your graveyard. Illus. Chris Rahn #77/264 5/6 Seems playable.

Pod loves this card, since you kill your 2 CC creature and go search for it.

I don't yet know where to fit it, but it's a bloody good card. Frankly, even as just a couple late-game flying beatsticks it's great. Life from the Loam also helps to ensure fairly early drops, if necessary. I am going to have to tinker with it big time.

Skaab may be good but I can't see anybody would play 3-4 of them in a deck it would be almost impossible to hard cast several of them in a single game. Because of that, I think it's price will end up being not too high.

Great... Kessig Wolf Run is by far the best card they are going to spoil for limited. Make every creature fireball, how wonderful. This card is pure unfair.

Skarrg, the Rage Pits gets a SERIOUS upgrade. That card is going to make RG a house in limited. Interesting flavor as well . Curse of Stalked Prey looks like an awesome multiplayer/casual card and Spider Spawning is pretty sweet flavorwise. What's up with Essence of the Wild? I don't see how that plays into the horror theme at all.

Only if they print enough "human" cards for him not to suck. Especially since many of the good weenies out of Scars aren't human like Legionnaire.

Agreed, they did print the white Butcher as a Human. Too bad he's a solider and not a knight

So it's basically an ally...4 of them, help each other out well though. Kessig Wolf Run seems pretty decent in Limited. ~MM __________________ I am MeddlingMage...YOUR Motl Survivor 11 Champion, 2007 Captain N award winner, 2010 Marlboro award winner, and 2011 Champion Tournament Pick'em MOTL NCAA Bracket Challenge winner!CM Punk "OMG Kevin Nash WTF, thought he was dead, LOL" New keeper of the Logout button

seems like a beating in draft. Its likely to see some constructed play as a 1-2 of as well as long as some variant of g/r pod stays alive. There are also 5 missing lands based on the numbering. I wonder if we'll get some sorta cycle of friendly color activations or such ala ravnica. Would be nice if they were all as good as this one.

WW humans has a decent base, though. Parish, abolishers, mirran crusaders, mikeaus as a 4+ bomb. Honor's still in rotation too. Seems like kithkin ww again, if anything.I imagine the same things that plague ww non landfall would plague this one. __________________ What a willou tree thinks about.

I was thinking of this last night. Decks using Intuition seem best placed to abuse Skaab Ruinator, since they don't have to twist themselves into knots to make it work. You either drop it in the mid to late game, when its additional cost is easy enough to pay (e.g. failed Natural Order, Misstepped/chumped Hierarchs, countered Goyfs, etc.), or you cast Intuition and find yourself two/three copies EOT. If you don't have another creature in the yard, Intuition grabs two and Life from the Loam/Darkblast instead, and you can use dredge to find another. Or you just put two creatures in your yard and can wait a bit to cast it from the graveyard. Better yet, run Unearth and you're golden. The ability to cast it from the graveyard is just sick--not just for finding copies, but where redundancy is concerned too. The extra cost is indeed a hindrance, but I suspect it's ultimately fairly minor for a creature that chomps Tombstalkers. I sucked it up and bought a playset. I will find a home for it. I suspect I can probably run two fairly easily in my NO BUG deck. Since it runs Intuition, Life from the Loam, and Unearth already, I think it's going to be a fantastic fit. The deck is about to get really sick. =)

Oh my god. I just realized that it stops Tombstalkers. That puts it in context a looooooot better. O_O
