Also, in case anyone didn't catch it already, Snapcaster Mage is Tiago Chan's Invitational card which I think means they're all finished with those as well. At least until they decide to start the Invitational back up again.

That's actually how I thought it worked when I first heard about player-designed cards, and I still think its weird for it to not be the player of the year or the world champion.

New mythic dragon desperately needed trample. Is wizards ever going to run out of variations on their "new firebreathing" mechanic (letting dragons deal direct damage to creatures)?

You know, on the whole I'm really not feeling the art in this set. It's got the same kind of cartoony feel as the Kamigawa and Lorwyn blocks.

It also looks like I won't be acquiring Snapcaster Mage any time soon, at their prices. Oh well.

Maybe it's because I'm Asian, but I loved Kamigawa art. The cycle of islands are by far my favorite islands.

I'm not saying you have to like it, but I am baffled how you can call it cartoony.

You know you still have to pay 1UU when you cast it from the graveyard. For 5cc, mini-Traumatize yourself to cast this 5/6 flyer is still not enough.

But it sure is a step in the right direction. If Deep Analysis or some similar flashback goodness gets printed I could see it work.
