It was only a cheap card, I'm wondering if they would send me a different Alpha card I don't have or if they would want me to send the beta back to them...

Most of what I've seen so far about MTGfanatic (at least their sale side) have been when cards fluctuate massively in price and people are trying to speculate. It seems more that the way most online store policies are set up are just not the most customer-friendly and are prone to complaints. To answer the original question, if you care, then mention it to them. If not, then I wouldn't worry about it. Let them know that not what you need and if they could credit your account, and return it you have to. Overall, be polite! Some people don't realize how important it is. Like the guy in this link, geesh. Sometimes you just want to grab the person your dealing with on the web and hang 'em by the back of their draws on a tenterhook, but try to resist. It does pay off. Is it just me, or does preorder mean that you pay up front and they an extra box when they order? The good news is that this means I run a replacement release next weekend with the promos that we have, and I get to make the profit from my own boxes instead. This is the first time in like 30 transactions and 10k worth of merchandise that I have had an error (that wasn't in my favor) with them, I think they are pretty good, I mostly choose to deal with them because they don't play loose and fast with the grading of cards. So far I've ran 3 Innistrad sealed events, and had 8 lands clogging up rare slots, and Essence of the Wild as my only mythic. One pool did give me a Champion of the Parish and Mentor of the Meek, but not enough support to go better than 2-2.
