Yeah... sigh. It would be cool to play with Planeswalkers but, alas, at those prices, I'd rather just buy/trade for Legacy staples instead. I still don't own a single planeswalker.

You probably have Jace and Elspeth they are the only 2 playable Legacy cards and maybe Liliana of the Veil.

Those three are at least actively being used/experimented with in the tourney scene (Koth and Venser in standard, Tez more in legacy)...my question is, where does Jace 3 go?

Hyped still for Type 2, and he is Jace, and EDH, seems to be keeping alot of PW's up there in value...

Don't think we will be seeing to many below 5, and most will probally hover around 10-15 if they are even remotely decent.

Short print run, casual card, speculation?

yeah those reasons. think i drafted more m11 then m12. Felt people got tired of m12 pretty quickly, not a lot of chase cards in it unlike everyone wanting titans in m11

It also looks to be a casual deck builders dream card, saw lots of them at a large SCG qualifier being played in mill decks by people just there to play and have fun. And we al know what casuals can do to a card price.

Looking for input on how people feel about no
booster drafts allowed at the upcoming
Dark Ascension PreReleases in January 2012.

I think this is a bad idea

seems like one. We typically enjoy having a draft after our sealed. Not sure the reasoning for not allowing drafts.

Our midnight pre-release has a cut to top 8 where they draft. I think that the one good thing that comes out of cutting drafts from Pre-releases will be that I get to go home before 7AM

Bloodthirst really didn't chane much about it. It's still coreset draft, and the fact that the rares aren't even all that different made it worse. Had enough of M12 after two drafts.

Does anyone have any experience removing PSA cards from the case?

Has anyone ever sent a graded card to PSA to be removed from the PSA Holder? I have an incoming card that I want out of that damned thing but it seems like its going to cost almost $25 for a card worth maybe $150. I would try and do it myself but I am afraid of destroying it and I wanted to see if anyone had any input on paying to get it removed.

You might want to check out some sports card forums if you can't get your answer here.

So I looked at some MTGSalvation threads just cuz I was bored tonight and to see if it was what everyone said it was.

The Plainswalk article confirms said suspicions - half the posters don't even understand the difference between 'plains' and "planes," even when put in the context comparing it to mountainwalk etc.

WOW. Just WOW.

So it just sunk in that now that I have my own address and a debit card, I can finally buy cards online without my parents losing their minds.

I fear this knowledge is going to precipitate a series of questionable spending decisions.

Oh well, off to scoop up my first copy of Doubling Season and a playset+ of Parallel Lives!
