No, temporal mastery isn't really a game-changer in standard. Not even in modern.The set does have some similarities to ROE, both in terms of draft meta and the large amount of chaff within the set. With that said, it's a mediocre set, but nothing worth crying over. There are a few solid, playable rares and mythics. Cavern of Souls and Bonfire of the Damned are both outstanding additions to the standard format, and the Hallowed Burial miracle card is actually a really great tool against delver and haunted humans. Wolf Run Ramp is going to be a pain in the ass, but control was already in a ****ty place to begin with, so cavern of souls naming giants is just another nail in that coffin. The other similarity with ROE is that this set has a TON of cards that you want to pull foil versions of. Any of the foil legendaries are going to be hot-ticket items for the first few weeks.

Whats up with all the creatures with reach and flying hate. lol, I guess tokens has something to do with that?

I think it's for limited, really, as there is a hella lot of flyers that are quite good otherwise.

Count the number of flyers in blue, white, and black. Flying is like Shadow in AVR.
