For mtgo, if it's tradeable it's playable. the only ones that arent mtgo tourney legal are gold bordered and cannot be traded. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? I won my last M13 draft with B/W Exalted/Fliers. Strong removal in the form of Murder and Pacifism and lots of good dudes.

G/B or G/R can be really good as well. Make sure to get a lot of removal and value exalted highly. The 1G wolf that gets stronger with more of the same guy is better than you might think.

Archaeomancer is a lot better than people think. In the right control deck being able to get back key removal spells (or Talrand's Invocation) is insane.

or drafting 5 mind sculpts and 3 archaeomancers + 32 other cards and just 3-0ing yeah, i did that like 3 times already. (although i will say unsummon + red removal spells do help keep the game going long enough to win via mill, but seriously, if no one is drafting the mind sculpts, you can just win a draft out of nowhere)

I disagree. The 1G wolf is terrible. I've never seen it make an impact.

If you have 4 mor more than can be good (not great, but good)in an agressive g/r deck but other than that yes there are terrible.

Does not make sense in the least.. i don't see any spelling mistakes which would cause this.

Whew. Finally finished the update of my pet-deck's primer (see sig). Took a while; it'd been about a year since the last update, and so much has changed since then. Also updated my HW list, which was stagnating. LOL. I just had someone told me that ended auctions on Ebay is not an accurate guide for the worth of something. Instead, he points to whatever some of the BIN auctions are. Oh...and this is after he wants to use MOTL as a price guide.

Likewise, but I made it a habit to check Ebay on most deals.

Another one:"I generally go by Starcity as a price guide as shops around here tend to copy their prices. A double signed and NM Juzam Djinn would fall under the SP range at Starcity so I guess around 125.00 ish." What?!

If he doesn't want signed cards, his reasoning is correct. If he does want signed cards, he's got a lot of learning to do.

Even if he does't want signed cards he's got a lot of learning to do. If I was the owner of that Juzam I'd certainly not consider a lower value than NM price unless I was in a hurry to unload it. There are people out there who do not consider signed stuff to be any lower in value, it's just a matter of finding someone like that who wants it.

Its just the idea of it being "SP" when the card condition is not...

Not that I agree with the assessment, but I've seen prominent dealers treat signed cards in the same way, they treat the signature as being damage to the card. Granted I also treated said dealers as people trying to make extra money on something they hope the owner isn't aware of. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

Buy a playset for 400? People are selling them like idiots thinking they'll drop to $5 each or less. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 2nd in posts in Canada 10th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs
