It is bigger than it looks in The Netherlands, though there are not many tournaments in Eternal formats (especially sanctioned ones). FNM, prerelease and such are pretty common, but sanctioned EDH, T1 and Legacy are rare. It's the reason I sold/traded off my power and Drains and went to Legacy, as there are a little more Legacy tournaments than Vintage ones. Sad.

The guy is notorious for posting on your buy lists that he has the cards you need but doesn't sell cards, and only trades them for his very 'rare' wants. Plus he usually posts ridiculous values in the value forum. I doubt anyone's laughing at his language. He's just pretty infamous around here.

Yah, he posted he saw beta seas sold at 1800 euro and then was complaining that I had sold my nicest one already and didn't want to pay $1200 per. I dunno about your math, but if I thought they were actually 1800 euro and someone offered them to me at 1200 USD I'd snatch them up in an instant. Seems hes just full of it...

meh, I opened a thragtusk and took second in an 8-4. Maybe even had a chance at first if I would have just grew a pair and went more aggressive. I just didn't want to throw out my mark of the vampire when I knew he play switcheroo so I ended up falling behind in the life race. I did end up beating someone else who opened a thragtusk along the way, the only difference was that he played his, I didn't. edit: LOL, this format is nuts. The packs are always so powerful. I'm drafting right now playing green. I've opened 2x rancor... AND PASSED THEM! P1P1 Thragtusk, P2P1 bad overrun. I think the overrun is better since I have 3x visionary already.

not much time left.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Huge-Nonsport-card-collection-Magic-the-Gathering-Pokemon-Yugioh-Marvel-X-men-/290755887290?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43b266c0bacould this be a really elabrate way of selling magic cards? based on the text they clearly know mtg pretty well, since the mention editions and "full art" lands. (so I would assume they know prices) if one of you happens to buy this, let me know how it turned out if you find any hidden gems.. and maybe toss me a finders fee

This looks a lot like a store trying to get rid of everything it has. No way im dropping 1800 plus, when you see what he's pulled as 'mtg highlights' :an urborg, a jitte, an intuition, a wb land tax, a wb scrubland, and a wb badlands. picture 11 of 12. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? yah, but does the yugioh stuff have value? what about the other random games? I think someone would need to have a ton of knowledge of these markets to even touch it, otherwise they are buying just off the one game they know and aren't willing to pay anywhere near the asking price.

No idea on the other stuff, this is true. However, based on the fact he ONLY did a 'showcase' picture for mtg (worth maybe $150), i would assume that nothing else is anywhere near the same value. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Depends on how much removal I have by that point, probably Rancor, unless I really need the removal, don't think sands gets picked over any of those in G/B.... __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

I ended up taking the sands because it has the ability to win the game on its own. Fairly sure the rancor was the correct pick. I hit a krenko pack 3 and my black wasn't very strong so switched out of it.

I played vs a guy in a 8-4 with two thundermaws... and he proceeded to drop one turn 5 on all 3 games. I get THREE arms dealers... i see one once. in 6 games.

There are only 5 other Goblins in the set (not counting Krenko's command), so not really sure how much value you can get out of Krenko's ability. This early I would probably take Krenko because he's rare and you won't see him nearly as often as O-Ring, but I do think O-Ring is actually the better choice.

Yup! That's even worse. That's the kind of thing that you'd feel is cheating in real life. quote: Originally posted by OGB: P1P1 - Krenko or O-Ring?
Krenko, force goblins immediately. Mogg Flunkies are so good. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 2nd in posts in Canada 10th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs
