Download "Dolphin Browser" and use it instead of the default Safari App to go online. Navigate to the Magictraders price guide and add it to your favorites (or quick dial). Load it up, and use the "Find on Page" feature to look for whatever it is you're trying to price.

You guys haven't busted your MOTL chops until you have a banned returning member BTA you for failing to send when in reality he was too stupid to go to the post office to pick it up and it gets sent back across the ocean to you.

Does anyone have experience with the Russian Postal Service? I have been trying to access the website to track a package but the website has yet to load successfully for me.

Complete playset of black-bordered duals. 2 Beta Savannah, 1 Beta Badlands, 1 Beta Trop. The rest are all FBB. Took 2 years from start to finish. Had to ask Bertie to help me buy the last 10 because it was taking too long and hard. Working on 2 goals right now: Beta P9 in at least NM- condition (should be completed by the end of this year) and one of every language of Gaea's Cradle (missing Spanish).

5% It took a while, but it wasn't a terrible task (is actually 5% +1 at the moment). Definitely had a sense of accomplishment after reaching that mark though. My real collectible card challenge is getting all (11) 1908 E91A Cubs baseball cards. They're not terribly expensive, they're just damn near impossible to find, especially in a condition where it still resembles a baseball card. I go to shows and have had dealers with piles of T206 cards tell me "good luck." Still missing 5 of them, but at least I'm over the halfway point.

Nice job! I'm trying the same thing, but at least 1 of each needs to be Beta (the rest fbb) and they all need to be artist signed. I'm almost there, just need 1 Scruband (fbb) and 2 Bayous (fbb). I'll need to get them signed and a Bayou and Scrubland (5 cards altogether to get signed when it's completed).

Now that I have the revised ones, would like to ge playset of FBB duals, I'd also like to get a complete set of P9 one day but it isn't a quest as of yet.

That's a long-term goal for me too. Get one of each Beta duals in decent condition.

The fun with collecting goals is that they always change. Some of the goals that I've set and reached are:1995 -- playset of each common 2002 -- one of each Vanguard card 2004 -- one of each World Championship/Pro Tour deck (1996 to 2004) My current goal is one of each card by name. Excluding cards currently in Standard, I need 18 more cards. I traded away a number of my higher value cards a few years ago in order to complete my playset of duals, and now I'm going back the other direction and trying to reacquire the P3K cards and others that I got rid of. I'm hoping by the end of the year to just need P9 cards plus Imperial Seal.

These are the current goals:1) Beta P9 set in at least EX condition 2) Beta Dual Land set in at least EX Condition 3) Finishing foiling out my cube 4) Continue the promo and misprint collection 5) Get a playset of standard and one legacy deck on mtgo and grind them back to break even Hope to finish 2 and 5 this year, and hope to get 1 and 3 done by mid next year in time for vintage champs and get 4 caught up to date by early next year.

Setting a goal for something you'll actually do something with is important, at least to me. I had never owned more then just a few pieces of power so when I started playing magic again I ran out and got them. They saw play in a whole two tournaments over the many many years I owned them. They mostly just sat in boxes. Owning them just to say you own them is really pretty boring. My previous goals included 18 of each guru (before price spike) as well as 1 of each beta dual are much more meaningful for me. I use guru lands in nearly every deck I build because I get enjoyment out of it. My beta duals are always floating around in some EDH deck. They do so much more then my power ever could have.Currently I don't have any active goals. I pick up foils for my cube every now and then when I get the opportunity, but I try not to go too far out of my way. I also pick up basic islands when I can for my global island collection. Unfortunately both are on hold due to lack of income. Once that changes those projects will be back up and running. Its just hard because I've missed some killer opportunities like when viper sold his no symbol guru island for $300. I was shocked it wasn't moving at that price and was seriously considering selling a mox or something at that time to pick it up. I ended up passing on it only to sell the power later =/

The most recent completed MtG collection goal I have is a full set of Unhinged in foil which I completed a few months back. I started it when Unhinged first came out so it's been a long running collection.

Now that ebay has removed all mtgo sales from their site, your best bet would be to either make friends with grinders who draft on mtgo or talk to sites like mtgotraders.

I have been away for a few weeks, is this something I missed? Are alot of people doing this? This seems like I will never ever sell to someone with this method. You buy a $20 card from me and pay me $1 in shipping....? I guess you just want a plain white envelope... O wait, they they want YOU to pay for the DC or YOU to be liable for their cards for the grand total of 5% of the sale. Especially since it is all $1 cards, meaning selling to that person will probably be 50+ cards for $5. LOL3. I am adopting the 5% method, meaning I will pay you 5% of the total sales amount for shipping. EX: you sell me $100 in cards, I will give you $5 for shipping. In another word, don't sell me $10 in cards and then tell me that you want $3 for DC otherwise I will to agree to some crazy clause. If you do, I will ignore you. http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/094961.html

Wow didnt even notice that they did. Is there a reason why? Does it fall in the virtual goods category?

I see it more as a reaction to people who seem unable to find a cheaper way to ship. Easily solved by setting a minimum buy amount instead.

Heh, my goal with MTG was to learn english in a fun way.... I'm the living proof that a card game can help you learn a foreign language Now my new goal is to make a competitive deck out of custom joke cards (see my High Tide in the link on my h/w list :P).

I thought about that, but the idea is to encourage bigger sales. So if you sell me $200, you get $10 and flat rate box is only $5, so you essentially make $3-4 on shipping. And also to keep him away -> quote: Originally posted by I3Iood: I am inconsiderate when posting on other people's buylist because I don't understand why the buyer wouldn't pay for $3 DC when he clearly needs my playset of 7th edition llanowar elves to finish his set. I mean, why would he post a buylist if he's not willing to buy?! And I don't want to lose this dollar if the mail gets lost, so it's only fair if he pay for $3 DC on this dollar transaction!
