Most of my cube lands are promo lands, notably Euro or APAC, they were hard to find 40 of each type

fellow MagicTV fans will be upset to hear that TSG has been fired for stealing cards from ChannelFireball's inventory. I can't stand Tom Martell's voice so MagicTV is dead.

They never even said he had them. It was obviously carefully worded to avoid directly saying "this guy is a thief". I'm no lawyer, but I bet ChannelFireball's lawyer is unhappy they made any post about it at all.

Well, he can try to sue me for damages related to my possibly libelous statements if he likes, but I'm sticking to my statement.The important part of this whole thing is that Tom Martell is annoying.

You get used to his voice and calling somebody annoying because you dont like their voice is childish and very rude. MagicTV isnt really that interesting without LSV anyway.

Wow..was TSG that hard up for money that he had to blatantly bite the hand that was feeding him? That's pretty crazy, sad too. I enjoyed TSG's presentation.

so maybe some one can catch me up, im getting back into the game, after a long time, i used to be a type one player and looking at the list i cant figure out why some of the cards are restricted, to me it seems totally unreasonably or even pointless. amyway whats up with

Gifts Ungiven - easy to get four combo pieces (or even hands like Lotus, regrowth, Yawgmoths Will, Ancestral)
Merchant Scroll - is Ancestral Recall 2-5
Mind’s Desire - with moxes it's way too good. Was restricted before it was even legal to play.
Ponder - 1 mana brainstorm like cards got restricted to slow blue down.
Thirst for Knowledge - good card draw, and good with welder and workshop decks. Also see ponder.Trinisphere - too good (almost auto win) with Workshop, turn one.

Not if you don't have a nice FLGS. Mine will be selling them for around ~50. But its a lottery to get one. It'a an interesting set, its got a few $10+ card in it and a bunch of cards that are $20+ foils. Big question still is the drop a big bomb like Karkas or Maze or Wastland in it.

Of course not. And for those waiting for the "bomb" in this set, it's already good enough. If the rest of the cards are complete crap, this will still be a massive winner.

A question for those who have done it before: When you purchased your home, did you sell your collection to add to your down payment? Is it worth doing if you plan on getting back most of the same cards later on down the road?I'd almost have to sell it in all as a collection which means a pretty big chunk of it's value will get cut out right there, but every bit added to your down payment helps leave more disposable income every month. Anyone crunch the numbers?
