My lgs told me that they had to buy lots of difficult to sell product to get FTV (I.e. DKA) while Commanders' Arsenal was simply offered to stores which held tournaments at a cheap price.

I think the stores order FTV the way they order prerelease, they tell wizards what distributor they want to go through. Maybe next time they just choose a new distributor.

I nabbed 3 Runewings, but what else should I be looking for? I feel like I passed too many 3cc flyers. I did get 3 Frostburns. Lost to the guy who passed me Supreme Verdic. He took foil Collective Blessing and I wrathed him all three games.

Only supreme verdict would dictate a preference for creature that force overextension from the opponent, and that's a single card in your deck. Personally, I hate being the guy stuck with a sweeper early in the draft, especially in RTR. This isn't m13 where you can play a control strategy and win with 1 or 2 fliers, unless both of those fliers happen to be skymark roc.

Abinks Banned	posted November 07, 2012 08:13 PM I love playing cockatrice and joining a game with the title "Serious Testing, Don't Suck" only to have my opponent tell me that Huntmaster can only flip on my upkeep. Even better was when they called me a noob and booted me from the game after explaining it to them. Crazy part was that they had the game won still... It can be a good testing tool when you find good players to play against, but I'm getting really tired of all the scrubs playing netdecks and failing. I'm not the best player ever, but for ****'s sake people... [Edited 2 times, lastly by Abinks on November 07, 2012]

Decklist was like: 2 Stab Wound 4 2/1 haste for RR/BB 3 2/2 for R/B Heavy removal suite 5/4 unleash haste first strike deer guy 6/6 huge overcosted zombie worm. A winner was me.

Heres the prize payout according to the TO IF they get 110 players. 1-2 one box 3-4 24 packs 5-8 16 packs 9-16 8 packs Thats 250 packs plus the 660 packs used for the sealed portion and the 24 packs used for the top 8 draft means 934 total.packs. At cost its $2.03 per pack. Thats roughly $1900. Hes charging $40 for entry fee. Based on the 110 people thats $4400. Is this excessive and is this something that should be brought to wotc attention? We have already mentioned it to the T.O and he didnt really seem to care but did mention he had to also.pay 2 judges to come from out of town. It just seems quite excessive. Any thoughts?
