I have been living and breathing RtR lately so Inspiration was actually on top of a pile of cards in front of me while I was posting that.As for decks that place well in Pro Tours that I worked on: 5 Color Control with Broodmate Dragon BW Tokens Naya "Lightsaber" Jund 5 Color Blood Optimus Primus Flash Hulk Elementals Jund Ramp ...etc I have also played a lot of block constructed to much success and my Temporal Fissure deck got Frantic Search banned in pauper.

We're not even talking about the new planeswalker if you can imagine that!

Also, seriously, understand there's millions of magic players and its nearly impossible to develop a unique deck. For example, I had Basilisk Collars and Cunning Sparkmages sleeved up long before Tom Ross and Channel Fireball posted results and decklists. Kinda how I knew 5cc would be the best deck in standard once Time Spiral rotated. I also correctly predicted enemy fetches in Zendikar. ....but so did other people. The only surefire deck I've designed by myself would probably be BW Tokens, Pauper Fissure, Optimus Primus, and Beatdown Toast. Hint: I was playing BW tokens in Lorwyn block. Way before shards and everything

I predicted the extinction of the Dinosaurs because I know God on a personal level...do you have a min to talk about his son, Jesus Christ?

Now you're just being stupid.I'm finished with off topic posts in this thread, I know what I've accomplished and I really don't care what anyone thinks on this site. Those of you who have PMed me for deckbuilding advice, feel free to continue. As for new planeswalker, Jund/Naya midrange looks really good in block constructed so far, way too early to tell.

I'm curious as to what UG Merfolk will look like (cards, not deck)quote: Originally posted by Link139232: As for decks that place well in Pro Tours that I worked on:5 Color Control with Broodmate Dragon BW Tokens Naya "Lightsaber" Jund 5 Color Blood Optimus Primus Flash Hulk Elementals Jund Ramp ...etc I have also played a lot of block constructed to much success and my Temporal Fissure deck got Frantic Search banned in pauper.

He can't. He's just spewing. What he fails to realize that A.If he did invent those decks he did not get the credit B.It's happened before, I'm sure of it with other people but C.He fails to realize that nobody cares if you scream "I INVENTED THE PIANO KEY NECKTIE" on a discussion board. He didn't get the credit for it then, and wont now.

Okay, let me be crystal clear here. Talk about the new cards. Discuss their possibilities. Do NOT discuss who built what deck and who's ideas are stupid and who's e-peepee is biggest. Take that crap to MTG Sally where it belongs. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. I'm not looking forward to yet another draft-playable mill deck (Dimir is obviously mill; look at everything printed in RTR for mill that "will work better" with Gatecrash) but aside from that hopefully things will be awesome.

I hear ya.....but on the bright side of things you won' thave to worry about RTR + GC mill until May. GC is stand alone. The only format were both will be in together is when all three are out. That said.....get ready to first pick Doorkeepers in pack 3!

I can't wait to see what they do with mill in Dimir this time around. Milling is probably my favorite deck mechanic at the moment, I just wish people didn't get so tiffy when they get milled...

The second planeswalker in Gatecrash could be Gideon in Boros collors. So Naya is going to have 2 new planeswalkers? New Boros guild leader is no good, because 6 mana is too much for Boros.

The second planeswalker is Gideon, we just don't know if he'll be white or WX.

Gideon will be izzet colors. He will be "Gideon, the Dragon-Touched" and his abilities will involve summoning Niv Mizzet from your deck.

Yeah, looking for reasons to play isolated chapel in standard. And an Orzhov general that doesn't involve sacrificing because they all do (Vish Kal, Ghost Dad, Teysa, etc.) quote: Originally posted by Volcanon: Gideon will be izzet colors. To be honest with you I'd LOVE if they reprinted Ghost Dad...Lingering Souls, Sorin LOI, Gather the Townsfolk.....man. He'd be as annoying now as he was back then! EDIT: not to mention he could effectivly block Thragtusk AND trumps Restoration Angel.

If people want to measure their ego, I "invented" the winning dragonstorm list on some MWS tournament I did way back when. Mihara stole my idea! /Sarcasm, but seriously I built my list 3 months before Mihara won worlds!

Possible for more Werewolves? Or is it too late? I have just started switching to Jund. I wonder if Gruul will bring back Devour. I would rock Young Wolves and Pyrehearts all day.

All 10 guilds are getting new keywords, so that's probably a no on Devour. Could happen, I don't just see it happening. New Simic keyword is Evolve Simic Fluxmage (U) 2U Creature - Merfolk Wizard Evolve (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, if that creature has greater power or toughness than this creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.) 1U, T: Move a +1/+1 counter from Simic Fluxmage onto target creature. 1/2

I have a strong hunch the Simic hybrid 1-drop is going to be a 1/1 with evolve on it, which is awesome, especially if it's a merfolk. I wonder if the Simic guildleader will grant your dudes evolve as well, and I'm willing to bet that she has an activated ability that gives all dudes with +1/+1 counters unblockable for the turn.

Evolve looks BOSS in limited. I am excited. More ego: I was playing omnidoor when RtR came out. Just.. Without the omnidoor. It was WGB with Farseek/Ranger's Path/Chromatic Lantern/Lotus with Griselbrand/Angel of Serenity as finishers. Used Thragtusk and Centaur Healers to handle all the aggro and stuff. I ultimately retired the idea because it was too inconsistent. WHO KNEW ADDING BLUE WOULD MAKE IT AWESOME?
