How does a trader on here who has 60+ refs (most with usa traders):not understand how international trades, waivers, duties and taxes, etc work?

They could have traded with newer traders who also don't understand this stuff or they were small deals where those types of things didn't really come up. Maybe they are being willfully ignorant to avoid responsibility or misunderstood things in the past? Who knows... Plenty of other traders to be wasting this much time over one deal, IMO. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Where are people getting their 2013 commander product? Evogames decided to do what they do best. Already sounds like a lynch mob is forming.

Oh is there another twitter/reddit explosion over a store not honoring a price? You figure someday these companies will learn how bad bad press is over a few hundred (sometimes far less). __________________ Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"

It's not much help to you, but I got my set for MSRP at my local store.

Honestly, meh at all of this. I get my commander stuff at Walmart and Target and other similar stores. LGS's aren't going to sell Mind Seize by itself for MSRP more than likely, although you can probably buy the full set at or close to MSRP. You can also probably try all the big retail chains that have a trading card section (usually a small section of Magic/Pokemon/misc. right next to all the sports cards). Chances are Mind Seize will be gone but sometimes you catch them right when they restock a full set (or two) of Commander decks.

Couldn't find them at any local Target or Wal-Mart in Cincinnati (didn't try all of them mind you). Got it for MSRP at a LGS.__________________ -Schmitty, MOTL's Psychiatrist 72nd in Refs [324] on MOTL (3 behind iaa@yep.com) 2nd in Refs [324] in OH-IO (71 behind souladvocate) 1st in Posts in OH-IO (Passed the legendary ValMTG) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place" - Rick Pitino

If you're buying the whole set, they are easy to find at MSRP. If you want to cherry pick the one good one at MSRP, lol.

I got my Commander 2013 from my local gamestore. I was after the esper deck, so I had no problems. Also I wish my text could convey the horror that is Aetherling. It is an unstoppable force of death and destruction on the field. What are your, if any recommendations for confronting one? I'm thinking counterspells and pithing needle are the only answers in standard. Anyone have anything creative?

the answer occasionally played in the sideboard of control decks is debtor's pulpit. I'm personally not a fan. If they resolve theirs, they likely win. If I resolve mine, I likely win. Lets see who gets theirs first! If you're not playing control, does it really matter?

Walmart here didn't have it. They only stock blister packs, ever. I found a store that sells them at MSRP, but of course they were sold out of the "good" one. The other store wants $70 for it.

I just picked up a mind seize at walmart. I didn't check to see if they had more than one. Figured 1 free sol ring and baleful strix is enough.

Commander 2013 should have had crypt instead of sol ring. Non-pimp Sol ring's going to be cheap as dirt with all of these reprints. Its not even alternative art from the last commander boxes. I want a mind seize for stryx (for cube, of all things, not for legacy) and a bb lu xun. Lu Xun's going to be super cheap so I might just pick only him up if I have to.

I assume by Crypt you mean Vault? A bunch of copies of Mana Crypt would be absolute nonsense.

I'm pretty sure he means Mana Crypt. I don't think it will ever happen (and don't necessarily want it to), but it's pretty much a standard card to run if you have it. The only reason most people don't is because the card is pretty scarce/expensive. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

I just realized that Theros block will be the first since Alara (2008) to use a traditional Big-Small-Small formula. Scars was close but New Phyrexia had 20 more cards than Mirrodin Besieged.I personally applaud this. Two large sets plus a large core set every year is giving me (a returning player) purchasing fatigue.

A week ago I saw a playset of shallow grave off tcgplayer (legitMTG) for $7.5. Decided, what the heck, it's a steal. Five days after buying them, I was refunded my money and told that a glitch underpriced significant portions of their cards, which they didn't find out until quite a few had sold. In an apology, they sent me a free pack. Just got it- it was a theos pack and I cracked a stormbreath dragon. Sweet. I NEVER crack packs so it felt kind of awesome. Now to find someone to buy it from me.

Crypt is sol ring for zero. The drawback literally never matters.
