Sure you can't keep it, but you can't keep the Sol Ring either. So people draft the Power 9 knowing they won't see em any time soon.
Vintage Masters is a thing they are releasing that will have P9 in it. In other questions has anyone purchased an alter from supratrader? I just want an idea on how the thickness on his alters are before i purchase. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario and Canada 9th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

It depends. Sometimes if you have in a color the on color mox is a solid pickup if you don't need the colorless mana so much. I don't think I'd take recall over sol ring unless I was already super heavy in blue. I still think LOA is my favorite first pick in cube. Wins so many games.

I received a package via FedEx last week... is it normal for them to leave ground packages outside?I ordered a bunch of bubble mailers, they left the box on my front steps, in the rain. The box was then left out over night as I didn't think to check for the box, I was waiting for the "we missed you" slip in the mail box. The box was opened at one end and about 1/3 of the mailers are missing. I can't see how leaving packages out side is a good idea this time of year. I don't even have a porch... my steps are right up to the sidewalk, I'm surprised the box was still there.

It's normal for FedEX to do this. I've had them leave $200+ electronics sitting on my front porch before with no protection or attempt to conceal the item. I have everything valuable delivered to my office now. It saves me a lot of worry. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Seriously, Library in opening hand is essentially a guaranteed win.

The cube I made has a rule where your first pick is left face up during the draft. People always questioned the library pick first over everything else. People stopped questioning it soon enough.

I really wish I understood the desire for foils or foreign cards. Especially foreign cards that people can't actually read on their own.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. The official forums are pretty good. The forum over on MTGS is not terrible, but you have to weed through a ton of stuff to find the good advice. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Why drive a new BMW over a Hyundai? Why do anything that's unnecessary and over the top? Because you can and want to show off. Nothing wrong with the desire to have the best. Sure they play the same and the player with those expensive cards may not be better than the other guys but he is happy. Its an attention/status thing. I liked seeing people Oh and ahh over my cards. Over that now but it was cool.

It's also the thrill of the hunt. Some versions of cards just don't come up for sale/trade very often...especially at a good price. Personally, when I really like a deck, I want to make it special to me in some way. I don't do non-English cards anymore, but I enjoy foils. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Car analogy is a little off because there are advantages to a BMW over a Hyundai beyond showing off . Some people are also jerks and actually like confusing their opponents with foreign cards - I think we've all met that guy.

If a card was listed as "damaged" and when you got it,it was written on would that be acceptable?

http://www.blackborder.com/cgi-bin/customscripts/help/condition.cgi?sid=jV2gACDU2Z I think I'd actually prefer it. If its sharpie at least there is a chance at getting it off as long as thats all thats wrong w/ it. Its the lowest of the grades tho.

The damage is the fact that it's written on. quote: Originally posted by stu55: If anyone wants a chuckle at a funny buylist:http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/105828.html
