Well I don't want us to waste a lynch, but as you guys already want to wagon for Thanos (except for Bugger who wants to pretend hes not against him although he is still bitter about last game) so I feel its necessary to post what Thanos is too stubborn too.I don't think you'll regret it is a good defense either way. At least he should be more convincing than that.

This has happened before. Every time you live that long you do something to cost the cits the game.

Journal of FwybwedI came home tonite to terrible news, one of my fellow villagers was horribly murdered by an animal of sorts. That is sad, as he was himself returning to the Poggle. Some are claiming a werewolf resides among us!?!? I am in awe that such a creature would or even could exist! I then came to hear that Thanos is one of the main suspects, claimed to be this Monster. I saw him today.... As I looked in the direction of the man who stands accused of been a monster, I had a concern, I could see by the look in his eyes, that he was someone OR someTHING special. I cannot say for sure. He says he is an innocent, and begs to have the folk chose another to hang in his stead. Though these pleas, so loud and sincere, have fallen on deaf ears, I think to myself that some have chosen NOT to listen. And those have garnered my suspicion. A lot of my fellow folk are pointing the finger in his direction, but I feel that I cannot do the same. I would be disheartend if he were a someone special. Tho, I am sure if he is in someway special his pleas will have gotten the attention of this werewolf that everyone speaks of and only a short time will tell. I am asked constantly for my voice to be heard but as I sit and ponder a decision, I get a look, a look of slight suspicion upon my own self. I care not. Voting AGM

Too stubborn to break the rules mayhap? The stubborn one is thou dear chap. If people voteth as they say, Then Thanos will not swing to-day.But alas! What is in thy head... For surely thou hast killed him dead. Bernek, the deciding vote is thine, Hast thou yet made up thy mind? For if it's BoT, then he will die, And if it's not, then we will tie. Unless thou doth these ends forestall, By voting Thanos after all.

Good lord you're arrogant. And that's pretty rich coming from you: for someone who fingers apparent bitterness, you're pretty bitter over getting voted off R4 last game. __________________ Webcomics you should be reading: [Dinosaur Comics][Dr. McNinja][xkcd][Questionable Content] Werewolf record: As Werewolf: 1-0 As Cit: 0-2

I art off to work to-day But ere I go, I wish to say That verily I've writ a scroll Which covers hence the tracker whole. It will provide fine instruction To those who wish an introduction In the tracker's care and feeding If that is what ye are needing. Jazaray hath checked it through, And seemst to think that it will do, So if ye hast good old Excel, And thou wouldst like to track as well, Then drop a line to me this week And I shall send ye what ye seek: My manual, and tracker too, Will be my gracious gift to you. __________________ -- PlasteredDragon A.K.A. Actually I'm not, I let it go. However every one of my posts has been met by you with this wall of arrogance portraying itself as self-righteousness. I'd prefer if you ignored my posts completely rather than put each one of them down because you are too full of yourself to think that anyone else could possibly be right. Please, please get over yourself, this is just a game.

Back! I hope to be much more active in this game, but my posts will have to be from work.Ryan kill: I haven't had much of a chance to play with Ryan. He seems like a solid player, but nothing particularly stands out. My vote is for Almaster. I don't like the stunt he pulled in the last game we played together. WW8, I think.

If you're referring to my response to your "I think Thanos is the angel" post, two things: 1) That's 1 post. 2) What, you honestly see nothing facepalm-worthy in pointing something out to the wolves that they might have ignored or overlooked? Thanos would make a great angel, because the wolves want him alive- they'd ignore him completely. So yeah, it was a foot-in-the-mouth kind of thing to blurt that out for them. Sorry for responding that way, I just thought you would have had the tactfulness to not blurt it out loud; I was thinking along the same lines. quote:

There should be no post of who people think has a role besides of who we think are wolves. There is no need to give the wolves any hints seeing they have an advantage already. I think that making that statement regardless if its true or not and even if it was only one post is detrimental to the villagers. As for limerick boy I placed my vote for BoT. Thanos and I target one another a lot but to go after him for not going with the majority last round is bad play. He hasn't been suspicious as of yet. Why not let the seer handle his job and get off of him and back to the agenda at hand. With Master and Bernek declared, I hath now the count prepared, An all doth vote as they hath said, Soon BoT will be amongst the dead.So now upon the gallows cart, BOT, hast thou wisdom to impart? Canst thou inscribe in sagely text, Where thou thinkest we should look next? Back to work, I cannot dally, But if desired, I have the tally. __________________ -- PlasteredDragon A.K.A. Alright, I've got to say something. [small]By the way, PD, don't take this as a dump on your writing; it's honestly pretty impressive.[/b][/quote]quote: Originally posted by PlasteredDragon: It would be uncommon bold To as a wolf my posts so mold So worry not about the style And note the content is worthwhile.
I say it game in and game out that you can't use the "why would a wolf do something this bold/brash/etc?" defense on yourself; it's a logical fallacy that negates itself in its use. But I know I'm not talking to a first-timer here; PD knows the logic and the gameplay every bit as well as I do, and we've been experiencing the same games for the last few months, so no doubt he's seen that argument applied. I think he knows that. So I ask myself, why would he make that argument if he knows better? I've come up with two viable conclusions: 1) I think that PD may be admiring himself a little bit here. The rhyming is pretty neat, and he's expressing your points well. But he hasn't been given credit for it: a couple "geez, that's odd, I'm suspicious of PD" posts, but nobody has stepped up and said "come on guys PD wouldn't do this as a wolf, it's unnecessary"--and that's what his scheme wants: a defender of his style to give him a bonus. I'm sure at least some of the citizenship thinks so anyways, but still; he posted that way for days without a defender, so I posit that he stepped up and said it himself anyways to fit better with whatever he has planned. 2) Double bluff--In addition to playing in the open and doing something inexplicably bizarre with his posting, he's saying something he expects he'll get called on and then a chorus will come to the side and say "nah, PD would know way better than to say that if he was a wolf." Of course, there's the possibility that #1 occurs when PD is a cit and he's so involved in the game he's elected to play; and for that reason, I think that this is far from damning evidence, but I want to caution the citizenship not to just negate him because of what he's doing. I'll add that I'm not moving for a PD lynch until we have a dead seer; it's a well known fact that he's a high-percentage guess. Other than that, nobody has alarmed me yet, and I'm a little bothered by my lack of read on most players at the moment. My vote did stick on Thanos after all the anti-Thanos movement went through, for reasons described previous. Plus, it's obviously defeatist if everyone switches and the counterwagon becomes a landslide. Still waiting on results, anyways. __________________ MOTL's answer to Billy Crystal.
