stu55 Member	posted November 12, 2010 09:04 AM So I got a PSP-1000 but the firmware was upgraded to 6.32 or whatever....is there a way to reset it lower? Or do I need to find one that isn't upgraded?

Unfortunately, for that high FW, you need to buy a pandora battery (they run about $6) and follow a guide like the one here http://forums.qj.net/guides-psp-hacks-homebrew-emulators/162702-guid e-ultimate-cfw-installation-guide.html Go to this section: For Bricked/OFW/to Downgrade/Upgrade PSP Users (Hackable Mother Boards VIA Pandora) Then you'll get to a version that lets you install hacked firmware. Once you install the hacked firmware, you can put all sorts of emus/roms on it. You can even play ps1 games on it flawlessly, since sony put that feature in. If all of this sounds too confusing to you don't hesitate to ask me, I've done it a bunch of times. I could help you with making the memory stick/battery if you needed as well probably. Ended up getting it for pc, but play occasionally on my friends account who is pretty good. You can add him, hes AWESOMEFAIC psn

Based on previous Call of Duty leveling, I'd think it resets. Look at it this way - in CoD4, WaW, and MW2, if you earned extra EXP after you get enough to prestige, did it carry over and start you off at lvl 8 or 10? Of course, that's just my educated guess and I (hopefully) could be wrong.
Malice327 Member	posted November 13, 2010 03:44 PM i always forget to try and complete the challenges to get pro versions of perks, but i plan prestiging as soon as possible several times, to get additional class slots, so it probably isn't worth it imo.

marriedwithchildren Member	posted November 13, 2010 05:15 PM When you Prestiege, you will lose virtually everything you've bought (guns, grenades, attachments). But you keep the $, so I recommend sticking to only buying what you want or use and not going overboard. Store up some funds so that you can re-buy you perks and whatnot after Prestieging.

I get kicked from the server alot, and the spawns are horrible. Im a runner and gunner, my fave class Mp5 Or ak74/grip semtex flashbang claymore lightweight pro steady aim pro marathon pro spyplane napalm strike attack helicopter Still getting use to not being able to use a good shotgun, spas12 was beastly in mw2. This game is much slower paced too the spas is still amazing because you can spam fire it about as fast as the AA12 in MW2 if you have a good trigger rhythm. It's damage isn't nearly as high, but on maps like summit... it does work. For those kind of maps, i run run sleight of hand, and have an RPG for a secondary.
