paragondave Member	posted July 07, 2012 08:47 AM Your bank can impose their own brand of insurance if you still owe on the car and cancel the insurance and they find out. That would be much more expensive. Most insurance companies have policies for stored cars at a fraction of the value but reduced or no coverage if it is damaged while being driven under this type of coverage. I'd check into it. I'd also suggest that you check into USAA coverage. They specialize in dealing with service members. Good luck and stay safe. Dave
