From what I see, I think the only away to avoid it is to pre-pay shipping online and have it picked up at my house. The problem is that I am unable to do pre-pay for international postage through the computer unless it is not first class.

There's just no way to set him straight. It's been posted on that article many, many times now that he's a ripper and (some) people are just dismissing that fact because it was several years ago.

No he did not sadly. I've decided that if I receive any compensation from this event, I'm selling it and writing a check to a charity. I've lived long enough without the value of those cards, I would be solely doing it to bring justice to Dombek. There are people less fortunate than me who could easily sustain themselves on some food for the value of the stuff he stole from me. I'm tired of people defending him because he won. I'm not trying to take away his victory, just resolve some open scenarios. Worst case scenario, his magic career just got a lot less fun than him. If I ever played him and he took my creature with an effect, I'd be yelling thief, I heard this guy takes your cards and look what he is doing!

Yes there is-- you can put your money where your mouth is. If you're actually sorry for your past actions, make restitution for them. We know of at least seven people you ripped. I think (and based upon a quick google search) the Statute of Limitations is five years on mail fraud. There are exceptions for the SOL, but I'm not a prosecutor...if you still want to go after him I'd print off all the face book posts and talk to someone at your local US attorneys office via phone. Good luck!

I've finally flipped out enough to leave my GF.... I heard her screaming at our new baby girl of 3 months like a maniac (but I have no proof OF COURSE ) simply because she's not feeling well and wouldn't stop crying. Anyhow, I'm finally out of this ''prison'' relationship and before she pushed me out of her appartment, she screamed at me to get a GOOD lawyer if I ever wanted to see my baby girl again AND that I'll have to come with the police if I want my stuff (XBOX360, MTG collection, Wii, etc...) back.

If any of you ever got pwnd that way, please lmk what i should/could/can do in this situation.

Depending on your financial situation, as well as how things work in Canada, I know that in the US, we have something called the volunteer lawyer association, where you can get a free lawyer. It's what my finace did to fight for custody of his two children (he got custody )

The best advice I can give you is, document EVERYTHING. Times, dates, exactly (as best that you can remember it) what was said and by whom. Don't use terms like saying you've "finally flipped out..etc", that can look bad on you. If you can remember, clearly, arguments or behavior prior to the split, document those too, ASAP, before you forget the details. Be courteous to your ex, even if she is not to you. Be the "big person". Make attempts to call and make arrangements to see your daughter, even if all she does is scream and say never, you're trying. Document all attempts and the excuses or whatever, she gives. If it's "one party knowledge" (legal as long as one party knows the recording is in progress, in other words, you. )in your area of Canada, record the calls.

I know it sounds like a lot to do, and perhaps it sounds like it won't help, but believe me, it does. When we went to court, we had documented evidence: times, dates, things that the kids said during visits, what we did during visits, things that their mother and her, at the time boyfriend, now husband, said. They had "whatever they said we did, they did". It helped us a LOT. Especially when we could prove that the boyfriend lied in court.

Be prepared to have your life turned upside down by the courts. Make sure they assign a GAL (Guardian at-litum, a lawyer that is specifically for the child, they will have no vested interest in your or your ex, just what is best for the child.. if they have those in Canada), ours was really awesome. I mean, she was kind of a pain, but she did her job and she did it VERY well. She's most of the reason that Tom got custody.

Call your friends, apologize for being an ass and beg them to forgive you. If they were really your friends, they will understand and come running.

ASAP, get a police officer to go with you to get your stuff, before she torches it or something. I would not attempt this without an officer. Perhaps you should make a list of everything that you can remember is yours, so it doesn't look as though you're just pointing to random things.

Honestly, when she threw you out, I would have taken your daughter with you. But, I can certainly understand what you were going through and why you didn't, my fiance did the same thing, and regrets it to this day. In fact, he wishes he had made her leave the apartment (it was in his name as Head of Household), instead.

If your Ex: Did you try to console her? Help with the baby? Signs of postpartum...?

If your Baby girl: What did you do to assist here? There is nothing simple about this...I know I have 2 kids...
