If i attack with a 2/2 creature and my opponent blocks with a 2/2 and i say "in response to you declaring your blocker i withdraw that and another creature you control" would my creature still be blocked even if i declare it before damage is on the stack?

Multani13-if you let him declare blockers BEFORE you play withdraw, then technically your creature is blocked, and all damage from that creature will be dealt to nothing, unless the attacking creature has trample, in which case all the trample damage is dealt to the opponent. If you want your guy to go through unblocked, you must play withdraw BEFORE your opponent declares blockers. Also, if you play it in response to his declaring blockers, but before damage is assigned, then your creature will live, and his will go back to his hand. But while you're at it, why not just have your creature assign damage, then withdraw your own creature after assigning combat damage...that way his creature dies, and yours goes back to your hand. To coolio-the only reason I answered this is because I for sure know the answer, otherwise I would not even think of answering it. If you wish me to stop, just give me a holler on this post, and ill shut up. __________________ If you are reading this, then please, give me a good offer on any cards I have...God knows I need them.

One of my friends has an Underworld Dreams out. Next turn I play an Urza's Armor. Does the Armor protect all the damage done by Underworld, or does it only protect just 1 damage.

skatr.. they re-worded it so it has to have a time counter to activate it. you add a time counter by skipping a turn. i dont think its called a time counter but oh well

aya.. its just like pestilence.. it does 1 damage whenever you draw a card, so urzas armor prevents the damage. if it said at end of turn deal x damage where x is the amount of cards drawn, then it would only prevent 1 total.

Sue is attacking Bob with a Cradle Guard. Bob has a Soul Warden and a Mother of Runes in play. He blocks the Guard with both, and taps the Mother of Runes to give itself protection from green. How much damage (if any) can Sue assign to Bob? John has 2 dismiss in his hand. Can he cast a dismiss, then cast the other one to counter it? Why or why not? Raymond has an Oath of Ghouls in play, and has more creatures in the graveyard than any other play. Can he elect not to pay echo on his Avalanche riders, then bring it back with the Oath? If he had as many creatures in his graveyard as another player, could he still get a creature from his graveyard by not paying echo?

The stupid problem with Misdirection , i hate it:1. When my artifact is pillaged, can i change the target to his LAND? Or can I onley change the target to ARTIFACT (because he targeted artifact) 2. SB plays a spell, i counter it, he counters my counter, i counter his, and he counters mine... I cast misdirection and misdirection his counter to his spell or his other counter.... ?????????? Is this legal????

Time Vault has errata thats says something like "You must skip a turn to untap Time Vault, Cannot be untapped any way other than skipping a turn" Then Tap, Take an extra turn after this one __________________ Refs ICQ#: 34960983 Email: limp_bizkit97@hotmail.com AIM name: RichieL123 Anti-Pokémon Pic! - Image of the Week!

If somebody casts something then you dismiss it. Dismiss goes on the stack. Now, if you have another dismiss in you hand, you can dismiss the original spell again so that you can draw 2 cards instead of 1. But if you targeted your dismiss with your 2nd dismiss, you would only draw 1 card, and the original spell would be cast. This is because when the first dismiss is countered the entire spell (including the "Draw a card" part are countered)Last time I checked, time vaults were errated so that when you untap them by skipping a turn, you put a time counter on them. And you cannot use the ability of tap, remove all time counters from time vault - take another turn.... unless you have time counters on the vault. With the Oath of Ghouls thing.. I don't think he can do that in one turn, since the oath of ghouls effect takes place AT THE BEGINNING of his upkeep phase, and the echo effect must be paid DURING his upkeep, or sacrifice it. He could do it over a period of 2 turns though I think. (ie. don't pay echo, then next upkeep return it to his hand) No idea what happens with the talruum chapmion and mammoth harness. Sorry.

all right ppl.. I've requested this many many times.. PLS STOP answering questions.. as you can see why.. there are many many answers to the answers.. each of you has a different opinion and interpertation of the rules.. some are right.. some are halfway.. and others are totally wrong. pls leave the answering to me, guenhwyvar, strategest.multani13: once he has declared blockers.. your creature is blocked. aya brea: well since the damage from underworld dreams is dealt 1 at a time for each card you draw, yes urza's armor will protect you from underworld dreams. Skatr581: its not rumors.. its no possible.. time vault now has a counter effect. you must skip a turn to put on a time counter on time vault and untap it.. then you can tap and remove a time counter to take an extra turn. Trash Golem: nice question.. trying to test me are ya? hehehe tell ya wut.. I'll give ya 3 answers.. the first two is if you control the mammoth harness. answer 1. if you control the mammoth harness, since they are both triggered abilities, you get to decide which goes on stack first. harness goes on stack first, then the minotaur- their hill giant has first strike. answer 2. if you stack the minotaur on stack first, then the mammoth harness, their hill giant dont have first strike. answer 3. if your opponent is the controller of mammoth harness, here's how things go on the stack, your triggered abilities first, then theirs, meaning minotaur will go on the stack first, then harness. harness will resolve first, giving hill giant first strike, then minotaur will resolve, and make hill giant lose first strike. ya lost yet? greven53: yes two rising waters untaps you two land during upkeep 2. no you dont untap lands during your untap. rising waters is a triggered effect during upkeep. but yes you'd untap a land during upkeep. grez: sue can assign 2 over to bob. why? well all she has to do is assign lethal damage to the creatures (1 to soul warden, 1 to mom) and the rest over to the defender if she choose to. 2. john cant cast the first dismiss unless there is a spell on the stack for dismiss to target. also.. you only draw the card if the dismiss resolves. which means casting both dismiss to counter the same spell on the stack wont get you two cards. 3. no he cant bring back avalance riders because you select the target upon activiating the ability. and no you cant use it if you have as many as another player.. the cards specifically reads more. Valentijn1: you can only misdirect it to another artifact. 2. yes. razor2sharp: dismiss thing: yer wrong time vault: somewhat right oath of ghouls: partially right ©

Say I cast a Thieving Magpie. Then, my opponent counters it. Can I use Misdirection to misdirect the counterspell to itself? Can I use misdirection to make the counterspell target misdirection, thus causing it to fizzle?

Thank you coolio for telling the rest to stfu, i was getting kinda irritated myself (with the wrong ones).1. Ok, if I have a rancor on a morphling, what happens when i say "morphling can't be target of spells or abilities"? 2. If I have Mageta and Lin Sivvi out, is there a way I can destroy all creatures but use Lin to pull out a Steadfast Guard as a fast effect? Which do I do first? 3. If I Kris Mage you, can you use Prodigal Sorcerer to take out my Kris before damage ever happens, thus causing me to lose a card without doing hte damage? 4. For token cards like Saproling Burst, what happens to the tokens when they die, such as Angelic Favor? Do the tokens go the to the graveyard or get removed from the game? 5. If I have a Seal of Removal out and try to use it on your Llanowar Elf, can you Disenchant the Seal of REmoval as a fast effect, thus prevent the elf from getting bounced? 6. Can I cast Wrath of Gods and recruit with Rebels to keep some on the board?
