DeathTyrant: quote:
ok, as another added thought about conspiracy, can i use "wall"?
You can use wall for conspiracy, and here's why.
Text(MM): As ~this~ comes into play, choose a creature type. ; Creatures you control and creature cards in your graveyard, hand, and library are of the chosen type.
You can use a pre-existing creature types, even new ones, just not a word that has anohter meaning in the game.
Selvaxri:
Dual Nature questions.
First of all, here is dual nature.
Dual Nature:
Info: Color=Green Type=Enchantment Cost=4GG PY(R1)
Text(PY): Whenever a creature card comes into play, its controller puts a
creature token into play thats a copy of that creature. ; Whenever a
creature leaves play, remove all tokens with the same name as that
creature from the game. ; When ~this~ leaves play, remove all tokens
created with it from the game.
It only triggers on a card of type "Creature" or "Artifact Creature" (or
"Summon" for older cards) comes into play. Another card type which comes
into play as a creature won't trigger this. [Prophecy FAQ 00/05/25]
This is because it says "creature card" and not just "creature".
If a Legendary creature (see Rule K.17) comes into play, the token is put
into play and then is immediately sent to the graveyard before you can
do anything with it, because it is a duplicate Legend.
[Prophecy FAQ 00/05/25]
If Dual Nature leaves play between when it triggers and when a token is
put into play, that token remains in play indefinitely. It missed the
separate ability which would have removed the token from the game.
[Prophecy 00/05/25]
Note - Also see Token Creatures, Rule K24.
1) The kicker ability does not trigger for the copy, nor does he get the benefits. Here's why.
A.20.Ruling.3 - You can only pay kicker costs when playing the spell from your hand (or when playing it as though it were in your hand). You cannot pay when the card is put into play directly.
[Invasion FAQ 00/10/03]
Since you're not playing the copy, you can't pay it's kicker cost.
The copy does not get the benefits because the token only copies the card, not any counters or abilites granted by the kicker. If you kick a benalish lancer, he comes into play with 2 +1/+1 counters and has first strike. The copy creature only copies the card, which in and of itself does not have the counters or first strike.
2) You would draw 2 cards, since each kavu climber has the ability: when ~this~ comes into play, draw a card.
3) Caller of the Hunt:
Info: Color=Green Type=Creature - Lord Cost=2G MM(R1) Text(MM+errata): */*. ; As ~this~ comes into play, choose a creature type. ; ~this~'s power and toughness are each equal to the number of creatures in play of the chosen type. [Oracle 99/11/01]
Since this happens when the creature comes into play, you would get to pick a different creature type for the second caller.
4) You would get a copy, since the creature card came into play.
5) No, you cannot pay kickers for creatures brough into play by the winch or belbe's portal. You have to decide to pay the kicker cost during the announcement of the spell. There is no announcement, so no chance to pay the cost.
6) Yes, it does reduce the cost of the spell by 2.
7) Double first strike does nothing.
alkiser:
AEther Flash: Info: Color=Red Type=Enchantment Cost=2RR WL(U1)/6(U1) Text(6th): Whenever a creature comes into play, ~this~ deals 2 damage to it. This card has a "comes into play" triggered ability (see Rule E.3). Each time a creature comes into play, you first apply any continuous effects of cards in play (such as Humility or whatever), then you put this ability on the stack. When it resolves, the creature takes 2 damage. You can play instants on the stack before letting this resolve.
[D'Angelo 99/05/01]
This is not a targeted ability, so it deals damage to Deadly Insects and
other creatures that cannot be targeted by spells and abilities.
[D'Angelo 97/09/02]
Note - Also see Comes Into Play Abilities, Rule E.3.
The natural emergence would cause the land to come into play as a 2/2 and Aether Flash would deal 2 damage to it.
Volraths' Shapeshifter questions:
1) When it changes forms, you do not play any "comes into play" abilities of the cards it copies. [D'Angelo 98/06/05] For example, if it copies a Phyrexian Dreadnought, you do not sacrifice any creatures.
2) The prior ruling extends to this as well.
3)
If the top card in the graveyard has any asterisks (*) in the
power/toughness, then those values are considered to be zero (see
Rule K.10.5) unless the card also has a static ability which sets the
value for these asterisks, in which case the Shapeshifter also copies that
ability and sets the values. For example, a Nightmare or
Keldon Warlord will have their power/toughness set as appropriate.
[DeLaney 98/07/17] But a Clone, Doppelganger, or Shapeshifter
results in a 0 value for the *. [D'Angelo 99/01/26]
Neo Darkside: gzeiger got that one.

Quash: Info: Color=Blue Type=Instant Cost=2UU UD(U1) Text(UD+errata): Counter target instant or sorcery spell. Search its controller's graveyard, hand, and library for all cards with the same name as that card and remove them from the game. That player then shuffles his or her library. [Oracle 99/11/01]
It removes the countered spell from the game. This is because the first
sentence puts the spell into the graveyard before you continue to the
second sentence. [Urza's Destiny FAQ 99/05/25]
Hope that answers your question.
Dissipate also removes the spell from the game.
DarkDamion:
Planar Void:
Info: Color=Black Type=Enchantment Cost=B US(U1)
Text(US): Whenever a card is put into a graveyard, remove that card from the game.
The card does go to the graveyard before it is removed from the game, so
other triggered abilities like Energy Field will trigger on the card
going to the graveyard. [D'Angelo 99/01/12]
He could remove the rector and search for an enchantment.
gzeiger:
Rancor: Info: Color=Green Type=Enchant Creature Cost=G
Text(UL+errata): Enchanted creature gains +2/+0 and has trample. ; When ~this~ is put into a graveyard from play, return ~this~ to its owner's hand. [Oracle 99/05/01]
Note - Also see Trample, Rule A.27.
Both rancor and planar void would trigger. So, depending on who's turn it is, the rancor would either go back to your hand or be removed from the game. If it went on your turn, it would go away. If it went on you're opponents turn, it would come back.
DarkDamion:
Here is an section of the rules detailing the announcement of a spell in regards to lion's eye diamond.
T.3 - Life Cycle of Spells and Abilities
T.3.1 - The life cycle for a spell or ability can be charted out like this:
[CompRules 99/04/23]
1. Announcement -- Costs are paid. Targets are chosen. Mode is chosen.
See Rule T.4.2 for details.
2. Waiting for resolution -- When a spell or ability gets to this stage,
it is considered successfully "played" or "activated".
It is put on top of the stack, and can be responded to by putting
other spells and abilities on the stack. Stay in this step until both
players pass while there are no spells or abilities above this one in
the stack. . .
The spell is not on the stack until after the costs are paid, so you cannot use lion's eye diamond to pay for a spell already in your hand.
manaburn:
1) You need to pick 2 different targets for the magma burst.
2) It deals three damage to the 1/1.
kerrick: Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore:
Info: Color=Black Type=Creature - Horror Cost=4B LG(U1)/56(U1)
Text(6th+errata): 3/6. ; ~this~ can't be blocked except by Walls. ; Except
for creatures named Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore, creatures you control can't
attack. [Oracle 99/07/21]
Reinhart I'll get back to you later on this one, i'm running out of time and would like to give a good explanation.
AdamC637: What? Buyback is determined when you pay costs for spells and if you pay the buyback it goes to your hand instead of graveyard on resolution.
RyogaHibiki:
1) You cannot use spreading plague on artifacts. "No color" is not a color.
2)
This affects lands that can produce a "type of mana". This includes
color (or lack of color) combined with any limitations, so tapping a
Mishra's Workshop for mana only has this card tap other lands which
produce "colorless mana that can only be used to cast artifacts".
Ones that just produce colorless mana without restriction are not
affected. [bethmo 97/06/25]
So in other words, yes. Tapping an urza's land will tap all other urza's lands, and terrain generator, and any other land you have that can produce colorless mana.
PhoJer:
1) No, you cannot. This is because the tapping of the rebel is part of the cost for the ability. The cost is paid and the rebel is tapped before you can respond by using the merfolk. Even if you try to tap it with the merfolk they can respond by using the search.
MoUsE-WiZ:
About the infiltrator. It is possible to play this ability in response to itself and generate
some odd combinations. For example, if you control this card and another creature, you can use this card's ability and target the creature you
control. You can then use this card's ability again and target a
creature your opponent controls. The second usage resolves first and
you get your opponent's creature in exchange for this one. The first
usage then resolves and swaps your other creature for the Infiltrator
so you get it back. The net effect is that you can swap any creature
you have for any of theirs if you can pay this ability twice. Note that
your opponent does get the chance to use the Infiltrator if they have
the mana in between your two usages and can mess you up.

Ragemonkey, please refrain from answering questions on this post. I've been busy the past few days, but I WILL get around to answering the questions. Having multiple people answer questions reduces the integrity of the post, and makes it generally useless. What use are the right answers if no one known which ones are right. Thanks.
