Can I put Blastoderm back in my hand when Fleetfoot Panther comes into play? This is a tiggered effect, not a targeted spell or ability, right?

Absolutely right. Only it is not a triggered effect, it's a triggered comens into play ability. Juss Level 1 judge

1)I guess you have to. I say I guess, because right now I cannot recall any appropriate rule. 2) Both WD-s trigger. Result: 2 cards are discarded. 3) It depends how you stack your Wire's abilities, that trigger at the same time. As an active palyer, you can choose. The clever way is to put tapping ability on the stack first, then fading. As a result you remove a counter and then tap three things, one of which can be Wire itself. That is why it is a good card. On my turn, I play a creature. This creature has summoning sickness. On my opponent's turn, after blockers are declared, I play Ramosian Rally: If you control a plains, you may tap an untapped creature you control instead of paying Ramosian Rally's mana cost. Creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn. Even though the creature I cast on my turn still has summoning sickness, can I tap it with Ramosian Rally's ability to avoid paying the mana cost?

You can do it. It is the cost of Ramosian rally, and it has got nothing to do with its own "summoning sickness" Juss level 1 judge

Yes, you can activate it any time. Your opponent will select a card during the resolution, and if your hand is empty that time, the Scroll will fail to do any damage. During your draw step both players can play instants and/or abilities. If you want your Scroll to do some damage, wait until you have drawn a gard (card drawing goes on stack at the beginning of the draw step). You will receive priority during the draw step after drawing a card. I hope that answer satisfies you. Juss Level 1 judge

1) Familiars say "x and y spells you play cost 1 less to play". They will reduce the play cost for a spell. Buyback and Kicker are parts of a play cost. K.20.4 - To figure out the total play cost: a) Start with the mana cost (see Rule K.18). b) Apply cost increases from the card itself (such as from Buyback (see Rule A.9) and cost increases from other effects (such as from Gloom). c) Apply cost reductions from the card itself (such as with the alternate cost spells, see Rule E.1) or from other cards (such as Helm of Awakening or Pearl Medallion). [WotC Rules Team 98/02/01] K.20.Ruling.1 - Using the Buyback (see Rule A.9) ability is part of the play cost of a spell, and is added in before you apply cost decreases. See Rule A.9.Ruling.1. [D'Angelo 98/02/03] Kicker is also part of the play cost. See Rule A.20.Ruling.4. [D'Angelo 01/01/16] K.20.Ruling.2 - The result of Rule K.20.4 is that the Medallions and other cost decreasers can be applied to any part of the play cost, and not just the mana cost. [D'Angelo 98/02/03] 2)He can choose one black (Lobotomy #1) and one blue (Lobotomy #2). He can also choose one Lobotomy to satisfy the conditions and discard everything else. Juss Level 1 judge

It must have been Doomsday Specter, a Black/Blue creature with Gating. Gating asks you to return a blue of a black creature (in case of D. Specter) you control to owner's hand when it comes into play. When the only creature in play is Specter itself when its gating ability resolves then yes, wou would have to return it. Your opponent was right. Doomsday Specter: Info: Color=Multi Type=Creature - Specter Cost=2UB PS(R1) Text(PS): 2/3, Flying. ; When ~this~ comes into play, return a blue or black creature you control to its owner's hand. ; Whenever ~this~ deals combat damage to a player, look at that player's hand and choose a card from it. The player discards that card. Juss Level 1 judge

No. State-based effects are checked before any player would receive priority. Juss Level 1 judge

All the black weenies will die. Regeneration won't help, because regeneration can prevent only a destroy effect or lethal damage. Of your creature has 0 toughness, regeneration cannot raise it. Juss Level 1 judge PS. I recomment you to read about regeneration from the rules. That could help you a lot.

Ok, here we go. 1)Humility in play. If I cast an Opalesense, what does humility become, a 4/4 or a 1/1? 2)Same as above, but I cast a second Opalesense. Again, what happens? 3)Same as #1, then i cast living lands. If i play a land, can i tap it before humility's effect removes the tap ability? This has bugged me for a while now. A while ago, someone tried to explain it to me, but got me lost. Hope you have better luck than I have.

Please...I need a ruling. Magma Burst, kicker. I see it as targeting any target, and you can target the same target for a total of 6 damage. It states "another target". Any target is another target. It doesn't say "a different target". But, I have received a judges ruling saying it must be a different target. Help!

Yes you have to target a different target. It says "another target" the first one you target in the first. Then you need to target another target, not the same one. __________________ BlackStorm Enterprises Founder Pres./CEO Boxes/Packs: Mercadian Masques - $80/$2.50 Nemesis - $75/$2.00 Prophecy - $80/$2.50 Invasion - $80/$2.50 Plane Shift - $80/$2.50 Make Money here.

Does Overburden activate when a Nether Spirit comes into play from the graveyard? It's important.
