Link to diff. rulebooks ---> http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=magic/rulesTo see the Oracle text + errata's on cards, open the drop-down menu at the top-right of your screen, select Rulings Search, and type in the card, or words that you know are in the card name (like, type in Stone to see cards that have Stone in their name). Banned/Restricted lists - http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=judge/resources/banned Ask away, no question is too dumb! __________________ Check out the Rulings Thread - it has links to the Comp Rules, B/R lists, set FAQ's, and MUCH more!

I have had a little problem with this one question. If I have 2 Different "Lure" on 2 Different creatures and I attack with both, What happens? I have checked the magic rulebook, Magic Workstation, Rulings search here, and several other rulings searches. I have aslo emaile Rune Horvick at Magicthegathering.com but he didn't reply. Any Help?

All creatures that can block have to block one of the Lured attackers.

If I play 5 spells, and then 2 Brain Freezes, how many cards are they losing? Would it be 21 for just the spells, or would it be 18 for the first Brain Freeze, and then 21 for the second Brain Freeze for a total of 39 cards?__________________ "If you look at it long enough, maybe it will go away"Founding member of WW6 Corona Confederation of Countries (CCC) Northern Magic League

5 spells so far this turn, all resolved. Play Brain Freeze (5 spells played this turn) Storm puts 5 Brain Freeze copies on the stack. Play Brain Freeze (6 spells played this turn) Storm puts 6 Brain Freeze copies on the stack. Result: 13 Brain Freezes on the stack, milling 39 cards if none of them is countered. Beware of Counterspell/Radiate though

But counterspell won't do anything to brain freeze. Is Equilibrium + Tangleroot + Aluren + Cloud of Faeries a Infinite mana combo __________________ Music know it all for MOTL 1-Don't waste my trading time with your Have/Want List,If you're not going to trade. 2-RIAA Ruin music. 3-E-mail or Msn me at Days_of_the_weak@hotmail.com for Faster trades. 4-R.I.P Lucky (1997 -2003).God Bless You All

Counterspell does something to Brain Freeze... it stops one of the many copies, and you mill 3 less cards. That's why you need Radiate... And yes, that combo works for an undetermined large amount of green mana. __________________ The Admiral DCI Level 1 Certified Judge Terok Nor Events, Inc. teroknorevents@mail.igl.dk Any trade offers expressed herein become automatically null and void after 24 hours from time of posting if no contact made.

What are you planning to do with Radiate? Make your opponent mill 3 cards too?

You haven't answered my question very well. How do I determine which creature blocks which. Do I choose or does my opponent choose, what exactly happens. I dont mean to be rude, thanks.

Your opponent would choose which of his creatures block which Lured attacker. All of his creatures that can block would have to block at least one of the attackers.

Can someone please tell me the official rules for Alpha cards in sleeves. Can you play with them? Thanks in advance.

You can play them as long as the sleeves are fully opaque (can't see the backs of the cards). Beware though, that the sleeves will wear out differently, and become marked faster because of the different corners. I'd recommend proxying the Alpha cards, or replacing them with Beta equivalents.

This question goes along with the above one asking about alpha cards and sleeves. I remember a while back, you could ask that your opponent desleeve when playing in a tournament. If you can still do that, then what happens if your opponent has some alpha cards in his deck? If it is not allowed now then my question is moot>>

You can't do that anymore. The DCI got tons of complaints about people who would demand their opponent desleeve, then demand their opponent receive penalties for marked cards.... I admit, I was one of the few people who would play a Soldier of Fortune deck and demand my opponent desleeve just to see how many people would rather concede than play naked power......

Ryan: dual lands count as two land types. Each type triggers an effect of last stand so each dual does two effects. If you had 2 bayous then they'd make your opponent lose 4 life and you'd get 2 saprolings.

please answer my question: i am playing a 5-color deck with 2 of each dual land, no basic lands. if i cast a last stand <A HREF="http://" TARGET=_blank>http:// what happens? do duals such as scrubland work for the last stand? scrubland says "acts as both a plains and a swamp and is affected by spells that affect either." so would it count twice for last stand, or once and i get to choose which one? please only reply to this if you know a for sure answer, don't give me an opinion. thanks, ryan P.S. i think there's like 5 minutes left!

The Oracle text for the dual lands is currently a type line of "Land = (type1) (type2)", and no rules text. Dual lands count as both types, so if you control a Bayou and cast Last Stand, your opponent loses 2 life AND you get a Saproling. __________________ The Admiral DCI Level 1 Certified Judge Terok Nor Events, Inc. teroknorevents@mail.igl.dk Any trade offers expressed herein become automatically null and void after 24 hours from time of posting if no contact made.
