sorry for posting in wrong spotnecrotic ooze from scars of mirrodin. i know it checks all graveyards for all activated abilities the question is this. if i have a leveler in the yard like encave cyrptoloigis does the ooze get both abilites? is it the same for all levelers with abilites? if i play phylatcy lich (i know i spelled it wrong) and i have the liquitment coating out can i turn lich into an artifact and put his own counter on himself?

It will have the Level Up ability, but it will not gain the static abilities which grant P/T and abilities at certain levels. So, you can add counters, but they'll do no good. quote: if i play phylatcy lich (i know i spelled it wrong) and i have the liquitment coating out can i turn lich into an artifact and put his own counter on himself?
No. The lich is not in play, yet, when the counter must be placed. It is an ETB replacement effect, not a trigger.

Yes. From the scars FAQ: quote: Infiltration Lens {1} Artifact -- Equipment Whenever equipped creature becomes blocked by a creature, you may draw two cards.* If the equipped creature becomes blocked by multiple creatures, Infiltration Lens's ability triggers that many times.

Is Leonin Arbiter's escape clause an activated ability? If my opponent has a fetchland and I have a Wasteland, and he pays 2 to search that turn, can I respond to this by wasting his fetchland so he can't get anything?

recommend reading the FAQ: * Paying {2} to ignore Leonin Arbiter's effect is a special action. Any player may take this special action any time he or she has priority. It doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to.

You control all the "remove time counter" triggers, so you get to choose how they go on the stack. So yes, you will get to choose the order they are cast.

If my opponent plays Malaren of the Mornsong and puts a Basilisk Collar on it, do they gain life from the lifelink when I lose it during my turn?

No. Malaren isn't dealing you any damage, it's making you lose life. This is an important distinction when it comes to lifelink.

I'm rather sure this works but want to check before I do it in a tournament. Can I through the breach a creature during the end step so that it will be sacrificed at the nextend step. For instance, breaching in Reya in order to use her upkeep ability, or Iona so I can basically Chant my opponent and attack for 7?

Just wondering if Glint Hawk Idol would keep a -1-1 infect counter after it returns to being a non creature artifact at end of turn?

If I have a Wild Pair and Might Sliver on the board. I cast a 2/2 sliver: do i search for a 2/2 or a 4/4 from the Wild Pair ability resolving? If the Board is the same and the 2/2 is in a graveyard can I bring it back into play if Reveillark resolves? Another question: If a creature is evoked can it be sacrificed to pay some other sacrifice cost before its sacrificed as part of the evoke ability. Thanks for your help.

1. With Wild Pair, you would search for a 4/4. (Edit: you don't necessarily have to search for a 4/4. It could be a 5/3 or a 2/6, etc.)
2. You can bring back the 2/2 with Reveillark. 3. Yes. When you evoke something, the sacrifice ablity goes on the stack, so if you have a Bloodthrone Vampire out, you can sacrifice the evoked creature to the Vampire before the evoke trigger resolves. Hope this helps! __________________ My sig: just another victim of dallaswilliams.

Quest for the Holy RelicWhenever you cast a creature spell, you may put a quest counter on Quest for the Holy Relic. Remove five quest counters from Quest for the Holy Relic and sacrifice it: Search your library for an Equipment card, put it onto the battlefield, and attach it to a creature you control. Then shuffle your library. If you let them search will you be able to remove the creature it attaches to with a lightning bolt in response or since it does not target does it attach automatically with no chance to respond?

Strangely enough, they both have the same name, so they will both be destroyed.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? [16:18] <@BrassMan> gush is unrestricted

After reading the response about Emrakul, I have a related question. I have 5 cards in my g/y and my opponent uses Keening Stone. The 3rd card is my Gaea's Blessing. Do I finish milling the other two first, or does Blessing go off right away, causing me to shuffle the g/y and library, and then I have to continue and mill the other two? Thanks, Jazaray __________________ A Plastered Dragon Original Limerick: There was a nice lassie named Jaz Many wished to have what she has, A delicate face, A soft warm embrace, And a whole lot of bedroom pizzazz.WeedIan: Jazaray is like MOTL's Mom. Gaea's Blessing's last ability is a triggered ability. Keening Stone's ability will finish resolving completely and then the trigger will be placed on the stack.

Would that also be true with other milling effects? Like traumatize, tome scour, whetstone, millstone...etc? Thanks, Jazaray

Yes. Gaea's Blessing can't trigger until a player would receive priority (it will go on the stack before that player actually does get priority). Players cannot receive priority during the resolution of a spell or ability, so the trigger has to wait until whatever it is finishes resolving.
