You are correct. The bolt resolves, and then you choose to deal the damage to the player or any walker they control. They cannot wait to counter it.

No. Treachery is an aura, and you cannot target Emrakul with it while it is on the stack. I suggest Oblivion Ring or Journey to Nowhere. Those two are permanents by the time they target, so they can target Emrakul.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn can't be countered.

My Plague Stinger attacks my opponents Jace Beleren which is at 3 Loyalty. He declares no blockers and does nothing to precent the damage. The Jace Beleren goes down to 2 loyalty after damage, correct?

Correct. Creatures with infect deal damage to planeswalkers 'normally'.

His answer is correct.

When the remove a counter ability resolves, nothing happens because Tanglewire isn't there anymore.

When the tap ability resolves, it needs info on the source. When it doesn't find it in the expected zone, Last Known Information is used. LKI will tell the ability there were 4 counters when it was last there.

that is correct. The taiga becomes an illegal permanent and the enchantment falls off as a statebased action.

Im at 3 life and I have Vampire Nighthawk.

The coralhelm doesn't go away until after damage is done, so he is still in play to buff the lord.

You only get 1 more copy of brain freeze. Storm triggers when you cast the spell, and you arent casting brain freeze, you are copying it and putting it on the stack. This is why storm copies dont make more copies.

It's just like casting a 2nd gifts ungiven. First one searches for 4, 2nd one searches for 4.

Incorrect. Protection only stops the following (remember this acronym) DEBT
Damage - Enchant/Equip - Blocking -Targeting
Wrath does none of them, it will destroy pro-white guys just fine.

my opponent casts summoning trap (i know he can hit emerakul) i have a gather specimens in hand when can i cast? after he choses his creature of must i cast in response to summon trap which allows him to chose nobody. i am fine with gather becoming a counterspell at this point, as long as he doesn't go oops emakul.
