I'm on the fence about the new art though, instead of Darth Vader he looks like C3PO. At least you'll be able to pick up a foil version for under $30 clams, although I'm not seeing pre-orders for foils at SCG.. http://mtgsalvation.com/magic-2012-m12-spoiler.html

Wonder what the rest of the cycle will look like.http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=120667&stc=1&d=1309325921 quote: Originally posted by joz: I'm more exited for Tutor Demon7 mana for a 6/6 flying and tutor to hand? Meh, paying 7 mana for fact or fiction faty without protection/evasion/shroud of any sort is a bad play, even in EDH. Fact or Fiction is great, because it is an instant and because it only costs 4. Paying sorcery speed and 7? No. bad bad bad.

I didn't say it was good. I just think it's cool they designed a cycle of creatures this way. Neither of those two are constructed playable.quote: Originally posted by joz: Meh, paying 7 mana for fact or fiction faty without protection/evasion/shroud of any sort is a bad play, even in EDH.Fact or Fiction is great, because it is an instant and because it only costs 4. actualy, both are since they are printing a cheater, Quicksilver Amulet, in M12.Turn 1-3 ramp, amulet, fatty. but doubtfull anyway. Quicksilver Amulet is going to see play with Eldrazi, and Blightsteel. __________________ Joz - can we ban Leshrac for not fixing the Chrome PM issue?Gunslinga - If I thought it would help, and if I could, I would.

Just when I thought M12 was going to provide me with nothing, they print a Demonic Tutor on a 5/5. Time to free up another slot. And Quicksilver Amulet will see no play. __________________ Most References in Massachusetts 85th All-timeSupport my friend's store: http://www.tabletoparena.com

Sarnath'd big time. Should wake up before posting... Also, Solemn Simulacrum is back. Way awesome! I was so stoked to see that last night. Set is looking pretty cool so far.

I like the new art just fine. It's no sad robot, but it will do. I'm just happy I didn't pick up a foil one yet. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

The more i look at it, the more i feel like this is just a 4cc Nalaar. +1, deal 1 point. - a bunch, deal a bunch. Is there anything worth copying with her -2? Maybe Volt Charge or Tezzerets Gambit.... __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? The end your turn artifact is gonna be broken in half.I like the new Chandra but I don't think I'd play her over Koth. Gonna be fun in EDH tho!

Really? I think the artifact is absolute trash. I mean most of the stuff you would want to skip would be during your upkeep and if you end your turn during your upkeep, you pretty much gave your opponent a time walk. I guess you can counter your opponent's brainstorm at EoT but no good player would let you do that. just my .02

I'd play 8 stifles if I could. Plus I'm sure there are other ways to break it that I have not thought of yet. I just think it screams "break me". Also could be used versus Fae in modern/ext.

You wouldn't play chandra and koth in the same deck. Koth is an aggro card while chandra looks to be a control card.
