There was a shop by me that sold a bunch of duals for less then $10 each last summer.. I had just walked in as they were being paid for so it was too late to make a counter offer.

By "altered with inks" (or rather "ALTERED WITH INKS", because typing in all caps makes for pleasant reading apparently) he must mean "I sharpied the **** out of this poor card". Sharpie-ing looks terrible on cards; even if you apply it over a base coat of black it will dry in such a manner that if it catches the light it turns purple.

So he doodled with a sharpie on a crappy common and is starting the bidding at 5 dollars? I really hope someone buys it. I also really doubt it.

I either drew all land or no land.
Went 1-2, 1-2 (0-2,2-4 drop)
We got a free pack bc the store opened an hour late.
Then we got a free pack for entering.
In my 2nd free pack I pulled a 2nd Jace, Memory Adept. So all in all I did ok. ~MM

Same with me, crappy prerelease, 3-2, got screwed on two matches, I had probably the best deck in the room, unfortunately.Gideon + 2 Serras + Oblivion Ring + Super aggro deck doesn't cut it, apparently...

So, my pools for this week and last week were pretty sick. Last week, I went BWU and had:
Jace, Memory Adept
Call to the Grave
Zombie Infestation
Archon of Justice
2 Doom Blade
a bunch of fliers
and a bunch more removal.I started out 2-0, but lost to an aggressive bloodthirst deck round 3. Ended up losing round 5 by getting unlucky, and going 3-2, good for 6th. Today, I had
Chandra, the Firebrand
Inferno Titan
3 Bloodthist Juzams
1 Blood Ogre
15 dudes total, but not a lot of removal. I draw round one because of Jace's Erasure (I have no way to deal with enchantments.) I was rolling in game 3 when it went to turns, but couldn't seal the deal. Didn't drop another game, and came in second at 3-0-1. I picked up a Gideon and a Karn, plus some bulk to finish playsets, and opened a third jace in my prize packs. I've still not seen a real-life Garruk, Primal Hunter. __________________

Bloodthirst is some ugly, stupid, powerful stuff. I really dig it a lot. I've drafted a couple times and played at the prerelease and except once i went with bloodthirst.I really wanted to be able to go to a draft and pick up a couple thran golems and enchant like hell. I once got a lifelink on one and it was nice. But then the next game i got lifelink and firebreathing and it was siiiick.

hmmmmmm....I hope they reprint Demigod of Revenge, Bloodghast, Anathemancer, Deepcavern Imp, Ichorid, Nether Traitor, Nihilith, Puppeteer Clique, Shallow Grave and Spirit of the Night in Innistrad *WILD DREAM MODE DEACTIVATE* I want to make a deck with Warren Weirding, and Goblin Arsonist for sure, some other Goblin token shenanagins, etc.. __________________

I really liked my Cudgel Troll with Lifelink, Lure, and Trollhide Armor, with a Swiftfoot Booted Aegis Angel making him indestructible just in case the regeneration wasn't quite enough.
