I don't think this is right.... Red doesn't have the common depth that Black and White have, which I think are the best two colors.

I tend to agree that white is very very strong in M12 draft and that you take bombs over removal. Serra Angel is game over if you do not answer her fast. I love the white red bloodthirst deck, and with her topping the curve 2 swings is usually game. I think white is also very deep in M12. I find that after 3 limited experiences, red and white are more open and black is way over-drafted, meaning that I would rather take the Serra.

Serra might be the stronger card, but you're not splashing Serra while Doom Blade can go in almost anything with a Manalith.

Black's removal is similar to reds, but from what I've seen so far all there is a lot more trading guys early and bears being played. Black's creatures are just not as good as red's, they almost all trade with any 2 power creature. White's guys are better than red's for sure. It's not by a ton though. Red's removal is way better than white's, esp with the pushing of enchantments making maindeck ways to remove pacifism way more common. Red's commons also all go into the same deck, there aren't really any non-blood thirst aggro guys. White however has some aggressive cards and then some siege mastodons, stonehorn dignitarys and pride guardians.

Looks like I won't be around to make the new topic...But here's another thing to discuss: First Pick, First Pack: Team Draft 3v3: Primeval Titan vs Mind Control I think it's pretty tough. A lot of players go "OMG snap Titan" which may be right for the rest of the Titans, but Primetime might not be better than MC. I think I'd take PT only so I could play some crazy 4color deck, but Mind Control is probably the right choice.

I personally would take Mind Control. I like blue(could be bias), and I like the idea of picking late auramancers to hopefully blow them out with Mind Control, which the idea is fairly reasonable to get.Even if I don't get Auramancers, I'm still taking Mind Control....in a 3v3 draft that is

I think it's MC not close. The titan isn't even that much better than some random 6/6 for 6. I get that he thins lands, but if you're attacking with a 6/6 trampler enough times to remove a large majority of your remaining lands, a regular 6/6 would have probably got the job done.

Mind Control, it's not even close. Primeval is the weakest of the Titans in Draft. I mean, he's 6 mana...what else are you ramping up to?

Drawing nonlands is easier when you've ripped um outta there. You are right though.

6/6 Trampler is fun though and it does "thin" your deck (even though it's not construct) Grave Titan IMO is the best in draft. But yeah, MC is great for you and not so much for them. Heck maybe you'll use it on the Primeval Titan you passed ~MM __________________ I am MeddlingMage...YOUR Motl Survivor 11 Champion, 2007 Captain N award winner, 2010 Marlboro award winner.MafiaBass (9:48:50 PM): sorry my keyboard is sticky MeddlingEric (9:48:56 PM): ewwww MafiaBass (9:51:43 PM): FTR, I did not show you my e-pee-pee New keeper of the Logout button
