Personally, I think U/W in RTR is underrated.

I'm not saying it is bad, just uninspired, I guess. Feels like it is just a lot of do something that blue does, but gain some life, or do something that white can do, but with a slight upgrade. I do very much like detain as a mechanic, I was just hoping for more stuff like that in the gold cards.

Imo, UR is very overated. Some of these costs on overload is ridic. 6 cmc w/ 3 red? eek. Cyclonic Rift is imo only overload card worth considering. __________________

The full(?) set is up on gatherer now.Vandalblast is looking really sweet for my typical kitchen table commander/2 headed giant play. I like getting sweepers in uncommon.

You don't like Blustersquall? For only one blue mana and three colorless...you tap out your opponents defenders. Seems pretty darn good to me!

Or it's a fog. I really want to build a mill deck. There's B-Squall, the Populate fog, and Downsize to stop their guys, and you know.. Fog too.

think you might have missed the boat on this one. Rites of Flourishing is rotating and you really want some extra draw to make a deck like this work otherwise you'll just run out of fogs at some point.

Turbofog doesn't compete without Howling Mine... period.
It's my favorite deck and believe me, I've tried to make it work in every standard for the last 8 years, but without a turn two additional card drawer like Howling Mine, it just doesn't work. __________________

You're probably right, but I do still have Increasing Confusion, Noob Jace, and some other things. I was thinking of trying to go with the self mill thing to get the most out of Confusion, and use Psychic Spiral. Kind of wish I still had Reclaim so I could toss in a few Temporal Mastery too. Bad deck is bad, but yeah.
